@hallanful Quick response for you. Apologies if this upset you, but the drills these guys employ do look slack. Are they legit professionals or guys simulating? Anyway - A few pointers to justify my earlier comment. Too slow on approach, the door charge is an absolute thumble, takes to long, too noisy. We would have used a fixed frame window charge or C2 if we wanted to demonstrate explosives but a Remington 870 would have sorted the door and been much quicker. 9 yrs Royal marines, 4 yrs UKSF.

Charge should have been prepped and ready, this took way too long, good thing it was a practice run. I've done many room clearing procedures, anything under 17 seconds to blow the charge and you die.

It's safer to blow a hole in it. all in all, it's safer for the soldier. Not only does the explosion scare the sh*t out of whoever is inside, it has potential to disorient the person(s) inside the building, giving the soldiers the upper hand. Can you imagine if someone just blew the door down while you were unsuspectingly watching YouTube videos? :D

DEAD! Every single one of you! If you know you're coming up to the breach site, the breacher MUST be ready to place the charge. Breacher had a "buddy tab" for the charge which is good but if the charge isn't already out coming to the target then it should take no more than 2 seconds to pull out and get rady to stick on. Also you can start placing the charge BEFORE the entire backing i off the charge, this does two things: reduces time on target and helps prevent the charge from tangling.

You dont see where the first man goes [the man that walks right in front of the camera] but if anyone is it would be him provided there is no need to cover the rear. But if he isnt then perhaps for training purposes they are to 'pretend' they are entering a place with no window simply to teach them how to breach and clear a room with explosives. There are many ways to look at that one, including the idea that maybe the window is boarded up [not that that would make me trust it]. Hard to tell..

well i dont think that was the best method, the other guys have a point. it took him to long to deploy it and they were a little bit noisy in that time the enemy could have escaped from the back or shot threw the door. the main objective when breaching is to be swift and take by suprise. unless the guys on the other side were passed out o drunk then i think they lost that element of surprise
