  • how did you configure joystick to do that?

  • wana now how? command back and ill make a vidd

  • I did one better: with the right configuration you can map a double-thumbstick controller to *both* p1 and p2 n64 controllers (it is an emulator you know), and set the controls ingame to 2.2 mode... oh the fun.

  • just so you know! you can play with ur computer mouse and keyboard :D

  • Excellent video and post. I never had a N64 but I'm also playing this right now on project 64. Great game.

  • @theelusiveone Thanks, and yes great game indeed, glad you think so! :)

  • @Jacob500 awesome I been trying like hell to get the visuals to look like exactly like the 64. I am dling those plug ins now!

  • just a little tip from a guy who's exhausted all other options and has messed around with PJ64 a lot: Glide64 Napalm WX is THE best graphics plugin to use :) it emulates all the stuff you can't see in your vid here, like light glare and other effects, Azimer's HLE audio for the sound without the crackiness and N-Rage for the controls :D

  • @TheRealFaziri Now thinking about it, i remember the bright glares whilst playing on the N64, they got on my nerves alot! :D

  • @Jacob500 turn down the brightness then, lol... but hey, you gotta play the game like it's meant to be played, the light glares aren't the only things you don't see without a decent plugin. There's loads of other things and they make up a big part of the awesome details... besides, those light glares have a purpose here and there, like in the G5 mission: they blind you when the guards rush to the vault to shoot you

anyway, i'm just the kind of guy who wants to preserve awesome things like PD ^^

  • @TheRealFaziri Yea, the G5 Mission was hard :), btw i probably didn't know how to turn down the brightness when I was around 8 :P, but yea, preserving awesome games like PD is good :).

  • lol ye, my dad bought it for me LOL

  • yea its SUCH a classic game, i loved it soo much, i had it when i was like 6 - 8 years old HAHA

  • the way you're moving your person at first made me dizzy when watching this video. but yeah this game is badass. how do you think they're going to redo on the Xbox remake?

  • they already have redone it, apparently its shit lol, i hope they come out with something even better next time, oh and i was using a joystick so it was a bit hard lol sorry :P

  • how is it crap? all it basically is is the old game with updated HD graphics and online mode

  • ppl say the story line isnt very good, and well i supose crap is a bit too strong but it wasent as good as expected..

  • Oh I know which one you're thinking of now. Yeah, that one WAS pretty crappy. But you know they're remaking the 64 version (or basically porting it over with better HD graphics and online and other than that everythings going to be original) on Xbox Live Arcade this winter (when a bunch of other good games are coming out too). I'm suprised you haven't heard of it yet

  • is it called Perfect Dark: Source?

  • No, it's not Perfect Dark: Source, It's litterally the exact same game of PD, only it will have online support, Updated textures (Theres some pics out there of the new model of the CMP150). But it will have the exact same engine, gameplay, and story. Just revamped. It's coming out on Xbox Live Arcade in the fourth quarter of this year (No specific date as of yet). There isnt any footage as of yet, but there are some pics out there.

  • oh right :P

  • No, the xbox remake of the n64 version. Not the Perfect Dark Zero crap. The xbox 360 is making this game on xbox live arcade, it will have 1080p; multi-player (you only see your screen in multi-player on this version).

  • thats really cool :P, ye apparently Perfect Dark Zero was crap

  • Same, I am 12 now, I remember playing it when I was 4! I had very good skill at games when I was younger, this was my second game I played, ever. And I was M lol, my dad would catch me up in the middle of the night playing it, but he wouldnt do anything, I still play it today, matter of fact, I played it 2 hours ago rofl.

    Very fun game =D
