  • Thats the fire alarm that my middle school had.

We all called it "the duck".

At my high school we have a Simplex 2901-9838-4903-9101.

  • Mine is the B2 version. I have seen the B4 version at a Greek church that was built in 1986 (I think it was a Simplex 2001 system, but for all I know it's now probably a 4006 or something, though these alarms are still intact.)

  • kinda sounds like a car horn.

  • cool by alex

  • That's the same fire alarm my elementary school (grades 1-3), Gilmore School has. Only the strobe on top are xenon flash tubes inside the strobe.

  • My high school had this sounding horn, can't remember about the light plate.

  • wow you could put a sic techno beat to that!

  • My 2901-9806 is the B4 version with the cross in the grille.

  • This particular alarm sounds like an alarm clock. I like it!

  • these are week compared to a weelock as

  • Thats because the AS, ZNS, and NS are newer, with xenon bulbs and built-in horns.

  • xenon strobe tubes

  • CLOSE ENOUGH

  • lol

  • 2903-9001 definitely is the model number. I know this because we have some of these in storage in the Fine Arts building's Prop Department at my college.

Of course, we all know that your elementary and middle schools had these alarms, and your future tech high school will have them too

  • No matter what, my lightbulb just isn't as bright on 24volts. I should probably buy a krypton bulb.

  • My favorite alarm! 5/5
