  • This is so so so wrong but ----- Right. Sorry.

  • I really shouldn't like this as I love Linkin Park. It's two extremes of music types - bland radio & cool rock - but very cleverly done!

  • @caz140

I agree there. Haddaway are a "cool rock" band :P

  • @Paranoidave Ha-bloody-ha! Far from bland, Linkin Park still recording and Haddaway ....................? One hit wonder.

  • @caz140

1 awesome track vs. 10 years of boring music? :P Easy choice

  • @Paranoidave Can't make a living on one mundane hit though. Linkin Park rocks!

  • @caz140

Not that I'm a big fan of Haddaway (I just believe in giving credit where it's due). But the guy had a SHITLOAD of top 40 hits back in the 90's. Although "What is love" was easily the biggest....doesn't take anything away from the others......and he's still releasing and making music, albeit to a more niche audience.

Linkin Park have made a lot of money, but they've sacrificed so much and they've gone from one of the most innovative and interesting nu-metal bands to an angsty Coldplay.

  • @Paranoidave Think we will just have to agree to disagree. Haddaway must have had his hits outside the UK as I have heard of no others (and I own the CD single too!) Linkin Park are at least evolving rather than record the same old-same old and I find that waiting for the next album is exciting enough on that basis. They also deserve credit for raising money for charity (Japanese tsunami, Music for relief etc.) and find that they involve themselves with many charity projects. All the best xxx

  • this is a great mashup remix...Is there anyway for you to download a louder recording.....

  • @MrDiggler696969

Sorry to say that's the volume it is. Sadly I'm not hosting a "quiet version" and a "loud version". I guess you can just download it, import into audacity or any other wave editor and bump it up a few dB's for yourself if you like.

  • This was really really good and very catchy. Good job :)

  • TRANSFORMERS!!!

  • @xxxNightRainRosexxx And that is why I really need to watch when I post. Because when friends use my computer and forget to sign out, I make a comment using their name instead of mine.

  • ....I...LOVE. YOOOO!

This is epic, all put together so well :D

My hat goes off to you, sir x

  • My actual fav song in the world, great work!

  • Comment removed

  • your soo good at mashing up things

  • lmao this is so good

  • AMAZING!!!!!!!

  • @Paranoidave which bands do u actually like? the only bands i really dislike are hollywood undead and Bring me the horizon

  • You just won the internet.

  • Of all the mashups I've heard, I like this the best. Ya really did a good job; No part of the song was jumpy or sounded out of place. Everything flowed so well.

  • OMG...EPIC!! XD

  • haha! this is like the coolest thing...

  • lol night at the roxberry...

  • Add in Tainted Love and the Supreme's to this mix!

  • Add in Tainted Love and he Supreme's to this mix!

  • nice track =D

  • Nice

  • omg!! Stop those interpretation videos and do more stuff like this!! this is awesome xDDD

  • THIS IS FUCKING SICK O_________o...... THIS IS FUCKING AWESOME o________________O ....i dont know what i should say....but...IN THE END y after hearing it 10 times...i think i like it xDDD...i i also thing i´ll download it ... xD....its really a strange idea to mix THIS two songs..but....its fukin awesome...GO ON DAVE !!!!!

  • sweet mix

  • What ive done to discover what love is

  • Give it up for the "Gay Bar" people!!

  • Haha, I remember thinking that a mashup of these songs would be awesome. I'd say you pulled it off quite amazingly.

  • I love it :-)

  • I really like this song how did you do this??

  • Its hard, and he mixed it probably with some type of mixing program.

  • well it's a standard mash-up, I found the vocal track for this linkin park track on a forum and recorded some of the loops from some online flash-based "mash-up" software they had. I cut up the haddaway song to get the instrumental loops and put it together in Logic Studio 8.

  • Awesome! you really improved "What I've done"!!...

but it still sucks like every song on minutes to midnight

  • @LaRochius So go smash LP on a Linkin Park website or forum. Hahah, it's a mash up. I like how someone always finds one of the artists used in a mash up to bitch about. It really takes away from the uploader's effort of MASHING UP music, to get some new feeling going. Thumbs up chur ass for makin shit smell pretty right?

  • @ThatOneGuy831

No it wasn't, dipshit. If the government killed all those people in cold blood, and tried to conceal it, they sure as hell wouldn't let you or your conpiracy-websites live...

  • ....or maybe they WOULD, so that the general public would think that it was all conspiracy rubbish, if they removed it they'd only be incriminating themselves!!

(I love the circular logic of conspiracy theories, for the record, I don't give a shit either way and really question why someone brought up 9/11 on a linkin park/haddaway mash-up...)

  • @Paranoidave

It sure is an interresting place to comment that 9/11 was a conspiracy. I just don't get what they gained from all of it, or what their goal was. There are plenty of ways to start wars that DON'T involve killing thousands of your own.

  • Which was a great mashup, btw :p

  • You should do a Mash-Up with a Lamb of God song, That would be freaking epic!

  • had one in he works before uni stuff got too much funnily enough. I even copied the Sacrement "Producers edition" from one of my friends with the intention of remixing the whole album inappropriately (Italo Disco, Jazz, Piano Ballad versions, hip-hop mash-ups etc.)

Got midway through a mashup titled "Gimme Gimme Gimme a redneck after midnight" (I'll let you imagine what that was lol) but one day I might get back to this project and finish it off.

  • @Paranoidave Haha, I love both of those songs, and a mashup of the two would be pretty interesting to say the least. :D You should definitely consider getting back to it!

  • excellent mash, funny how similar pop songs are.

  • i say linking park is an worthy rock band of the new ages, everything is better than those "Pop" artists

  • but linkin park are pop.

  • yep atleast they think their rock

  • they don't think at all, they hardly write it.

The entire first album no-one could play any instruments. The session musicians had to teach them how to play "their" own songs for the tour.

  • @tekkentool Not true. And you're a moron. Some of the songs on the first album were 4 years old when the CD was released. The band wrote all their songs, and 50% of the first album evolved from demos made in 1996.

Not that it makes much sense trying to reason with a dumb ass, but I thought I'd clear the air in case people would like to believe what this dip shit says.

Now @Paranoiddave NICE REMIX. Cracked me up!

  • trance sucks ass ..and this is funny :)))

  • Indeed. Except cheesy 90's shit, just for nostalgia factor and for how much it's dated.

Cheers though, glad people are enjoying this.

  • haddaway ain't trance, that's club house.

    Trance is awesome.

  • I have to say I'm impressed. LOL

  • WOW holy wow! That is one of the best mash-ups I have ever heard! EVER! that was so awesome!!!

  • Cheers :)

Glad some people are enjoying this.

  • Do u have an instrumental?

  • lofuckin'l

  • Its not half bad; Linkin Park's always been shitty with their popish rock, but this is a whole new revelation! I think you're probably gonna inspire them for a trance/rock album now (sorry Jay-Z)! LP, the bastards, will squeeze anything as long as they think it'll squirt some money!!

  • Nicely done, the songs match up brilliantly :)

  • Wow they match up suprisingly well. How much pitch shifting/beat matching did you have to do?

  • very very little, that's the most fucked up thing......

Both songs are in the same key.

The Linkin park track is a round 120bpm

The Haddaway one was around 123bpm

  • hahaha oh wow

  • thats pretty cool. But I think they sound better seperate.

  • Yeah, i always feel so good, when I'm watching your Interpretations or your Mash-Ups.. You are the man, you should take this business.

  • dude this is awesome. the entire atmosphere is so cool.

  • Oh that's fucking amazing.

  • Absolutely bloody brilliant.

    Make more, damn it.

  • Hahah, fukkin' epic! Paranoidave delivers again.

  • throwed as fuck

  • You've gotta do more of these.

  • I think I should.

1000X times as satisfying as the interp videos.

  • Definitely. If I had known that 2 shitty songs put together makes an epic song, then I would have given a second thought on shitty music.

  • Interps are fun, but mash-ups are better as you can actually download them an listen to them... and freak the fuck out of your mates with them.. like the trooper believer =D

  • lol i lovee linkin park and i take no offense

cmon guys its all for fun. this is excellent i always loved Baby Dont Hurt me haha. Good Job 5 stars!

  • It goes together surprisingly well :o

I just had to download it :P

  • good mash-up

  • hahaha awesome

  • great work dude! nicely mixed, didn't really notice anything out of time. that bassline from haddaway is amazingly cheesy lol :D

  • cheers man :) Yeah the mixture of cheesy 90'sness and angsty 2000's-ness really works in an odd way.

There's only a 3BPM discrepancy between the 2 tracks and they're in the same key, so it seemed like a mash made in cheese heaven!

  • its good how you used 2 gay bands and mixed them together and made one massive homo mashup. the homosexuals on oxford street (sydney) would be very proud of you

  • its good how you used more than 2 generic insults and put them together into one paragraph. the homophobic 12 year olds on the internet would be very proud of you

  • naww thanks man

    i only aim to impress

  • "the homosexuals on oxford street (sydney) would be very proud of you"

You clearly know them better than I so I'll take that as a compliment.

  • haha well obviously i would know them better than you living on the same continent and all

  • my point exactly :P

  • My ears just jizzed.

  • My ears just exploded!!!

  • This is awesome man lol.

  • haha i dont know how you thought to mix these two but.. its brilliant

  • I lol'd. And downloaded.

  • i like it.

  • Hate Linkin Park.

    Love this.

    lol

  • wow, cool!

  • Nicely done.

  • Definately more than the sum of it's parts.

  • Lol'd.

  • Hahahaha, linkin park sucks ass but I can listen to this

  • sounded like a gay bar tune...

    my strange guilty pleasure

  • I actually quite like it =]

  • ...the fuck?

  • haha coool

  • screw you all dont hurt me's a great song=D im too used to you doing parodies and verbally abusing music artists so i was surprised to hear this. pretty fuckin cool man good work

  • Really nice work dude.

Oh and What I've Done is a good song so :P

  • Two really bad songs make a good songs then.

Next up, Lady Gaga + Vanilla Ice.

  • lmaoo

  • I agree. Both songs are complete shit, but I lol'd.

  • Don't Hury Me :|

  • .........wha?

  • Both songs suck an immense amount, but this made me laugh for some reason.
