  • those were 29 passes anyway how could henry miss it

  • 28 Passes. Disappointment. 1:39 of my life completely wasted. HESKEY FTW!

  • I fell asleep.

  • Its like it all balls down to Xavi or Iniesta feeling like, "I guess we should attack now." *delivers wicked pass*

  • kinda shit really

  • thumbs up if you actually counted

  • yawn. far from being the best barça footage

  • wow u guys dont get it

u do realize they're just wasting time while pissing off the other team. u think they honestly care that much if they score or not... they're winning 4-1. watch the vid b4 u comment dumb things.

more importantly, this is 2007 when barca played ULTRA defensive. if you look at their games now, barca is a lot more offensive than b4

but of course the haters don't even watch barca, so how would they know? :D

  • watch?v=q5W6vBI3mGE

  • goddamn if you hate barcelona why the FUCK are you diggin them?

go do something better with your life like jumping infront of a truck lol

  • Useless

  • It's funny how people think this is beautiful and perfect football

  • wow boring football !!!

  • Henry jaki samolub.. ja pierdole, wystarczyło odegrać.

  • to be fair, barcelona are 3 goals up. this type of of posession play is the best type of defence. its simple probability. keep the ball in your half and keep it mobile. one opposition player will inevitably grow impatient and come out of position, and you choose that moment to strike.

although obviously this is not the best example of tiki-taka.

still, if any team is going to play defensively and run dow the clock, this is the most attractive way to play defence.

  • I counted 29...

  • Compare this with Argentina version that finishes by cambiasso goal, this is shit !

  • Actually they were 29 ;) LOL

  • @xMHxJordieh 3 champions leagues 6 years

    Says it all really?

  • If you nothing 28 Passes were just useless. they 2 passes that created the goal were direct like how they play in the EPL. So yeah...

  • Again, our British friends complaining about it being "boring", "killing the game", and whatnot.

Well, first, it takes a huge amount of technical and tactical ability to play as Barcelona does - more than any team in the EPL is capable of.

Second, go ahead with your direct football and your kick and rush. Barcelona are twice champions of Europe in three years, Spain won Euro 2008 and the World Cup. Meanwhile England is very precisely the most crappy team in Western Europe. Keep up with it !

  • teams like everton can even play more interesting games than this. plz u want to see both teams attacking.

  • German football also was famous for the endless shoving around the ball on it's own half.

  • and now you understand the term Beautiful Football.

to every one saying this is killing the game, id just like to let you know, football is about strategy and team work. Some times the best thing to do is slow play right down then change the pace.

  • @krunkaintdead69 football is not only about strat or teamwork, team like barca is killing football and they should go filming instead of playing football

  • @momotao118 Teams like Barca are saving football from overly defensive style play. Over the last 50 years football has become overly defensive to the point that a lot of games only 1 or 2 goals are scored. It leaves spectators upset and bored which in turn lowers our fan base which results in less sponsorships and money and that means football slowly dies.

  • @krunkaintdead69 are you kidding me? there's so much money in football that it's practically a world super power. maybe your personal fanaticism will die... sponsorships are the reason for overly defensive football. They influence teams to want to win as winning is more profitable for the sponsors. Naturally this intensifies games to more competitive levels. What barca does is irrelevant in light of money. Take your unqualified statements back to preschool or madrid or wherever you got them.

  • @krunkaintdead69 that and as the game has progressed for years, knowledge about the game has too, and therefore new and old skills and strategy in all aspects of the game have been implemented to create a faster and much more competitive game of football

  • @krunkaintdead69 lol i guess i am so blind cos i somehow see the quatar fundation something on that disgusting team's jersey. and overly defensive style makes acting like hollywood becomes a right thing?

  • And it's very easy to make 30 even 50 or even 100 passes doing this, it just kills the game

  • Barcelona are boring when they pass it amongst the back four!

  • @Ralphc1000 THATS THE WAY TO WIN U CANT WIN WITH GOING ONLY FORWARD THEY WILL FUCK U

  • @Ralphc1000 this is called build up play, and its actually the central midfield doing most of the passes. you call it boring but actually this is usually referred as the term attractive football.. lol

  • aaaaaaaaaaaaand after all that Henry fucks it up -__- back to the drawing boards..

  • booooooooring

  • I could still make 50 passes with only my keeper.

  • @reubeny1 They were up 4-1...it's called delaying time while still trying to score goals

  • what a load a fucking shite

  • Real Zaragoza didn't pass the ball 30 between its defence. Using Xavi's glorious logic, it must be anti-football.

  • 2 Passes in the enemy half.

    Says it all really

  • @xMHxJordieh The score is 4-1. Nuff said.

  • @xMHxJordieh but 30 passes ;)

  • @xMHxJordieh It was actually 4, nice try though

  • @xMHxJordieh The score says it all really!

  • @xMHxJordieh Not really. Look at the score dumbass. It's 4-1.

  • That was epic but fail at the same time XD

  • @StarArvind So it's an epic fail?

  • Who acually counted the passes like i did?

  • sencillamente incredible... Congretulan several football connoisseurs to barcelona the best team ever!

  • Haha lmao...all the haters say "boring" and "useless" until Barca uses this technique to fuck up every team in the world and win every trophy....then they're all like "oh that's technique is alright" ....dirty and jealous madrid and epl fans...

  • All this shows me Henry failing to miss a chance which he would of taken in his Arsenal days no problem

  • boooooring......

  • That´s called boring footbal. Half of people inside the stadium was sleeping at this time.

  • @CarloDeivid 4-1 game was over :'(

  • im telling you any team can play like this if they want, for example reaL MADRID!!! barca wouldnt take the ball 30 minutes if real madrid want that but they are fair and they want to score attack not just passing like barca :P

  • @rakamadafaka900 You must not know who their manager is eh?

Jose Mourinho: known for defense and then counter. That's why he can't figure out Barca's Tika Taka. Your argument is irrelevant

  • @coolPedro14 no man,if you chech statistics real is the most offensive team..

  • @rakamadafaka900 goal scorers on the counter attack. On paper, Madrid should over power Barca but they can't. Proof? 5-0. Mourinho tried going head to head and lost. Then over the next 3 classicos they were completely defensive and tried the counter attack. Sure they score more goals, but honestly I'd rather have my team win then score X number of goals

  • @coolPedro14 dude when real won barca 11-0 and 9-0 they all forget it :P you better forget that crapy win :P

  • @rakamadafaka900 And how do those wins have anything to do with what was the original argument? Yes they beat Barca 11-1....in 1943. They were humbled: much like Real and Mourinho were not too long ago.

  • @coolPedro14 ok :P hala madrid! :)

  • @coolPedro14 lol its funny how people try to argue that real is better than barca but provide facts from the PAST like the game in 1943. Whats that got to do with today -_-. Barca>Real Madrid in 2010-2011 season and thats the most recent fact!

  • @Izwanla aha true true. I'd like to point out Madrid's record the past 7 clasicos too: 1-3-3. Says alot for the supposed 2nd gen Galacticos. What a joke, Barcelona's golden age is going to last longer. AND!!!! Barca tied Madrid for most trophies the past week. Says even more

  • @rakamadafaka900 lol the 11-1 during the Franco days? yeah that wasnt a real match, it was fixed it was 1-1 at half time and then somethings happened in the locker room involving francos soldiers, so yeah be proud of that win dick face.

  • @UserAccountNames what about real 5-0 barca??

  • @rakamadafaka900 well, i have no clue what your previous point was,i only read one comment. but yeah real madrid has been more successful than barca i think everyone knows that.

  • sucks and simply boring.

  • Watch the Argentina passing goal if you want the same thing but with a finish.

  • they are playing without see each others thats mean "i know where you are "

  • This was absolutely unbelievable, I wish our team could pass around in defence all the time without getting any presure from the opponent. Damn you, genius Barca. #sarcasm

  • we dont care if you dont like the video haters!!! BARCA FTW!!!

watch the Barca pressing and passing game video if you think thats not an example...

  • fucking boring -,-'

  • xavi made 11 passes. he was the heart in the barca attack..

  • Orgasmic.

  • 31 passes

  • Henry should have deffinately passed ittt!!!!!

  • 1:27 pass the ball!

  • what's that type of pass called at 1:11 and how do you do it?

  • BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOORING

  • Saw this in WC2010 too with spain..it was really boring to watch them.

  • @Da40cal im having fun watching this kind of humilition...maybe it's boring for you,i can't blame it...but you have plenty of time to watch rushing and harsh football in epl

  • @veryyyweird As far as i know the entire La Liga isn't playing like this. La liga is techniqal and england is very fast and psychical. Anyways what i was saying was that if u pick the top 10 teams of all time then this have to be the most boring team of those 10s. Brazil 70',England 66',Lpool 80s,Real Madrid 60s and 90 early 2000. Ac milan 1991 and France 1984 or Man Utd 99. Imagine if all the clubs in world is gonna play like this. I think football would get into a boring period then.

  • @Da40cal but this is really effective, nowadays football is harder so a new method must be created and here it is,tiki taka to counter the more physical approach by epl clubs...if all football players need to be taller, stronger and fast...then it wouldn't be fair anymore to smaller players

  • 30 passes, but Henry did not make the final pass to Messi who was free(it would have been an easy pass), that would have made all the difference. Just goes to show why Henry did not last too long in Barca.

  • This isn't a good representation of the Barcelona way, becase here they were just passing round the back with no urgency, when they're usually doing it in there opponents' half of the pitch, but it was probably because they were 4-1 up already, so they didn't feel the need for any urgency.

But they do the passing round the back for defensive duties as well. Even though tiki-taka's attacking, it's defensive at the same time.

  • @JimmyGuitarist not exactly defensive or attacking style. tiki-taka is the expression that is used to describe the pinball passing style. total posession all the time. that way you can control the game however you want. you can increase the pace or slow it right down like barca are doing here in this vid. but the thing is, it can be implemented in defense and attack. it is done to play the game at your own pace, so that you can apply your attacking/defensive tactics at any moment.

  • @ReiTirona Yeah, well I was more aiming my comment at the people who were saying it's "boring". Tiki-taka/total-football is just total control of the game, I know. Lots don't understand it, especially in the land of kick&rush; England. In this specific clip though, they're passing it around the back because there opponents wern't pressing them at all and they didn't need to take any risks, considering they were 4-1 up already.

  • @JimmyGuitarist dont even get me started on the land of kick and rush.... where strong physical players are almost always prefered over technically skilled players. no wonder their youth system is shit, and theyre not winning anything. wasted around 10 years playing football here, and unless you know someone then theres no chance in hell you will get spotted. if i was in another country, good chance i would be playing at a much higher level. the sadest thing is wasted talent.... :(

  • /watch?v=r8CCaW7XukQ this is what you call build up play.

  • @Danraemon Hey basketball is pretty good, I mean european basketball none of that NBA bollox. :D:D

  • @Danraemon yh exactly

  • thumbs up if you counted all the passes

  • @Danraemon it's so stupid to when you said offside goal...please watch with your eyes not your mouth

  • If you have the best squad in the world and such world class players - sensational I would say, you have to be show your brilliance in big games, Barcelona disappointed very badly against Real with their negative tactics. Playing defensive isn't wrong for me, ofcourse it's not what you want to see as a fan, but depends on you, but Barca had some very negative tactics coming into the game of the 1st leg were just utter shit. Ive started hating them since.

  • awww one more pass and they would've scored...

  • @Danraemon Its not about then. its about NOW!. coming from a Manchester United fan = non-biased view

  • Barcelona games are booring as hell! 60 minutes passing around in the defence.. -.-

  • this is not tika tika

    this is fucking boring football

i dont understand why everbody loves the playstyle of barcelona

  • @Gerold2612 Cause it works.

  • boring

  • rofl, 28 of those passes were between defenders, then Xavi hits a long ball for iniesta who hits a perfect pass to henry, although he's lucky the defender was horribly bad. if barcelona had upped the tempo of their passing, they could've done the same thing with 5-6 passes, it'd be much prettier to watch, be much faster and it'd be better and more entertaining football

  • Comment removed

  • garbage finish

  • 73 real madrid fans

  • Total football came from the dutch, but the passing football is just sipical spanish football, dutch people stop trien to get credit.

  • 23 passes were made on their own half of the field. So it's not an amazing thing they've pulled of. I've seen much better tiki taki from barca. Thanks for the vid anyway ;)

  • I wonder what is so beautiful about this style of gameplay. I could sleep in between the passes and wake up only when barca starts to create chances. Seriously, anyo t football team can do this 80% backpasses to their own half and go forward to get the goal in the remaining 20% passes. But they don't becoz this is lame and boring footbal. I prefer watching a team that lose but play at great pace and varies style of football, unlike barca who just know how to pass like in the training.

  • @fab4miner

K.I.S.S. = Keep it Simple Stupid

It's what barca does.... why give away a ball with a 50 yard pass attempt when you have a wide open teammate a mere 10 yards from you. And if you play enough attention to it.... the player receiving the pass is usually always wide open (a good 90% of the time)

  • @fab4miner Actually barca plays this way, 'cause others teams are too shitty -.-

If they let barca play, what should barca do????

If barca gets to play against totenham, i bet they cant play this way, 'cause the pressing... Unlike arsenal that play soo damn poor with 10 guys in their midlefiel

  • gunner1024

Lololololol Arsenal can't compare to this. Sorry bro .

  • if u think this is INCREDIBLE....u not see none of Arsenal games....

  • @gunner1024 Yeah i saw the arsenal game. 0 shots for goal attempt. fail much?

  • @gunner1024

looks like they failed to complete 5 passes against barca on tuesday with 24% ball possession lol

  • this is why i hate barca

  • which shitty team are they playing against.. no pressing at all by the opposition..very slow and dull display..

  • Just because Messi like's PES over FIFA so what? PES and FIFA are basically the same thing???? I find FIFA more better than PES... That my opinion

    I just don't like PES

  • Stroking it around in midfield with little to no pressure with a 3 goal lead against poor opposition isn't that special

  • dammn now that beautiful i love it

  • I can play like this, but only on PES....

  • @latko10 Thats what makes PES the best game around

  • @dadubs93 PES? Hahahahahaha... you make me laugh alot

  • @ProzYYnc Why would you laugh at the premier online experience for soccer fans? Messi supports PES over Fifa, i value this guys opinion over anyone else when it comes to judging quality football

  • I don't thinks this is a good example of great passin, I mean... Zaragoza had clearly accepted defeat, and never put any pressure at Barcelona's defence. And Barcelona passed the ball behing the middle line for almost the entire video, they were clearly 'cooking' the game without any objective. Nevertheless, at the final surge do they come up with something really great.

  • @fdief they are waiting for pressure from zaragoza so they get space to attack

  • @bert0ajax yeah, but this is not the usual passing game they implement. If you saw the game against ManU, then u noticed that they pass the ball beyond the middle line, inside the adversary`s ground, waiting for an opening to come up.

  • total football means total humiliation

  • this is fucking boring

  • @JoelMusicify this is fucking domination and you look like one of Zaragoza player

  • 31 passes would have been the goal.

  • actually this wasnt very good example of barca passing because the most of it it was with defenders and behind center,

  • even total football needs a moment of brilliance. That was by iniesta at 1:23 awesome

  • It is good but do you want to see something better? Look for the goal of Argentina against Serbia in the World Cup 2006, made by Cambiasso. The score at that time was only 1-0. Simply brilliant.

  • WOW amazing skills, passing the ball arround the defensiv line....

  • they passed between the defenders for about 10 mins

  • @MisterMikes too bad the video's only 1 min

  • @MisterMikes It's A 1 min video!:P

  • @MisterMikes ...zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz...seriously ppl if this is how football is gonna evolve into then im gonna watch golf insted.

  • @MisterMikes

    So?

  • @MisterMikes but the video is only 1.39 idiot real madrid fan

  • @MisterMikes The video is 1:39..

  • @MisterMikes The video is 1:39..

  • @MisterMikes Actually if you watch it again it is mostly between the midfielders. And the video is only one minute and thirty nine seconds, so that is a pass every 3.3 seconds.

  • henry must pass the ball there, maybe thats the reason why they let him go to another club, he is not good enough for barca

  • @187izm The game was 4-1 and he wanted to make his goal, he was good enough in this season that was 2007-08, and in 2008-09 he was even better, but he became bad at last season, thats why he left. But in the first 2 seasons he was great, but not at his best, cause his best was in Arsenal when he became a Legend!

    sorry for my english

  • @Erick102442 yea i agree ... i like thierry henry when he was at Arsenal, he was so good that the whole team depended upon him to score goals..

  • this was a lame video i have to say.....30 passes my foot....27 were in barca's own half....really lame video...there are many other videos which do justice to barca's playstyle, not this one, if u wanna see a 20+ passes (in opponents half) and goal to finish the 20 odd passes watch the argentina 2006 world cup performance...sorry to say im going to downrate this video...this doesn't deserve the views

  • YAWN!passing onli at the back is so boring...we wanna see goals!

  • hah ... henry should've pass to messi and it was 5-1

  • 1st factor: technique

    2nd factor: width

3rd factor: zaragoza 1-4 against barca at 75th minute = "why the hell should we have to do some decent pressing?!"

  • @pill0x 4th factor : ur a crazy fanboy who tries to pass something unworthy as technique and width....just dont post again please...the reason people dont like this video is how we all got rickrolled into believing the "30 PASSES OMG WATCH THIS FOOLS" title

  • @vishyvikranth sorry, i'm italian. i like football, i practice it, i follow it, i know something about it. the question is whether YOU know something about. if you did, you'd understand the comment was IRONIC. in fact, the 3rd factor is the only important here. and, in normal conditions, that ball possession would be noteworthy. so, please go back to post on your parquet competence and increase your sense of humor bye

  • it was fun reading the whole arguement between xixas15 and keto117 lol

that just made my day!XD i must go with xixas15 on this one cuz' it's more fun and important(me:-.- bleh) for americans to play american football and baseball than football(yeah the"soccer" one...)and of course they think AF and BB(dont feel like writing american football and baseball all the time)are better and defend them while talking shit about football...well,most americans that is...dont get me wrong i like america :)

  • lol and i heard the other day some fool say barca dive and play shit football HAHAHA.

  • barcelona is fucking amazing ... but henry is idiot :)) .....

  • @smokkyz excuse me but did u watch henry when he was at arsenal? ive been following both epl and la liga for the last 10 years and believe me henry at his peak at arsenal was a god, just like messi is right now, easily henry is one of the best forwards of his generation and similar to messi henry struggled wid the national side but was awesome to watch at highbury .... dont judge a player at the end of his career, even the best such as zidane was found wanting occasionally when he crossed 32 etc

  • 90% of the passes are all between the 4 defenders! WOW SO IMPRESSIVE

  • henry u fuk dick

  • lol henry what a shit

  • If you like this Barça's 30 pass with a miss ending try this one.

    " 35 pas ve fener gollll "

Fenerbahce scores against Galatasaray after 35 passes and ends with a goal by Anelka....4-0

  • If you like this Barça's 30 pass with a miss ending try this one.

    " 35 pas ve fener gollll "

Fenerbahce scores against Galatasaray after 35 passes and ends with a goal by Anelka....4-0

  • This Total Football comes from the Dutch, introduced to Barcelona and perfected by Spain, defeating Netherlands in WC 2010. What an irony ^^

  • @93n371cfr34k total football is when someone covers for you leaving you spot spain have their whole team between two clubs so everyone knows what their job is and they do it its like football the outside linebacker doesnt always make the tackle but he will no let you get the sideline he will make you either run into him or force you to the inside linebacker

  • @93n371cfr34k

    u forget ze germans

  • @Kleberolle

    no he didn't forget anything.

  • @93n371cfr34k, indeed that´s why i hate when everyone says pep guardiola made barcelona this good, and its not true becouse... Raijkard made barcelona who it is now, and guardiola just did some changes.

  • @93n371cfr34k yh by cheating

  • @93n371cfr34k i know right.lmfao

  • @93n371cfr34k Lmao! are you for real? Spain didn't use Total Football in the 2010 final. Your understanding of Football is severely skewed. Netherlands played FAR better than Spain and they implemented the old tactic in the final. Spain on the other hand played the classic Spanish overload tactic where upon they pressure the opponent countless times until the ball is given away. Simple as that.

  • @93n371cfr34k Barça is a Catalan team, not Spanish!

  • @fcbmartinso tu naciste español y moriras español te duela o no ;)

  • @93n371cfr34k this passing football is actually not typical spanish, but typical barcelona. Spain won the world cup basically because they used many barça players and barça playing style, thats it.

  • @93n371cfr34k

Barca doesn't use Total football you dickhead, if you think im wrong look it up dickweed.

and Spain also has never used total football, if they did how come only one of their defenders scored in the whole world up? rather than 5 goals from forwards.. Total football doesnt mean anything unless defenders are scoring just as much as forwards or else their not doing it right or they put fukin fernando toress as a defender..

put it in search on youtube to see it... fuckin kids

  • @marzell250 You might be right, but there is no reason for you to get so angry and use harsh language about it :) That is, if you are actually an adult

  • @marzell250

they use "tiki taka" which was employed by Johan Cruijff, one of the creators alongside Rinus Michels of total football, very much the same except they dont interchange positions as often, so yes its very much the closest thing to total football as it is attacking and fluid.

  • calm down. this is total football but with a catalan touch. Thanks to this methodology Spain won the Fifa World camp, thanks to FC Barcelona. the catan touch is noticed in having key players who don't loose the ball easily (xavi, iniesta).

i don't think we will watch such amazing football style again after this generation.UNPRECEDED

  • @93n371cfr34k yeah man dutch academy :)

  • @93n371cfr34k Cruijff he
