@OldCountry5866 Paul Williams was a member of JIMMY MARTIN & THE SUNNY MOUNTAIN BOYS when the ORIGINAL cut of this was recorded. Paul Sang lead on many songs while he played with Jimmy. When Paul quit, Jimmy offered to make him a full partner and share billing. So, dummy, you are right--that is indeed NOT Jimmie singing this "remake." Paul is singing lead, just like he did when it was recorded by JIMMY MARTIN & THE SUNNY MOUNTAIN BOYS.
