the reason is that kadabra has been "officially" banned...coz apparently nintendo was inspired to make kadabra from this psychic guy who claimed he could bend spoons...later on by chance he found a dark kadabra and took nintendo to court claiming kadabra was invented without his permission...and later on pokemon lost and was forced to pull kadabra out of the TCG...however...nintendo never told him they had pokemon video games XD
