Connecticut missed a rare opportunity to send its own "Mr. Smith" to Washington in the form of Peter Schiff in 2010. No finer economic mind exists in America. The Republican establishment chose very poorly on August 10, 2010 in the primary. Schiff versus Obama on the "Bully Pulpit" would have been one of the greatest moments in American History. Too bad the CT GOP would rather pick the low-hanging fruit!
