yeah, poor clinton. He did nothing different than nixon: lied, tried to cover it up, and misued the power of the federal government. I cannot WAIT until republicans get to impeach a president, preferably obama for his inumerable offenses to the constitution.
@asus3571 The Senate has to vote to remove the president from office. In the case of Clinton, the House convicted him, but the Senate did not vote to remove him from office due to a lack of 60 votes.
@highlandbreez or was it 67? at the time the Reps had the house majority, but still the popularity by the polls, were the determining factors.. the senate was to weak over all to do the right thing.. Clinton was after all guilty

Maxine Waters is now under investigation by the House ethics committe. Will she bitch and whine about that, just like she has here? Clinton was impeached because he broke the law. He lied under oath to a federal grand jury, which is punishable by five years in prison, and he also obstructed justice, the same type of offense which led to the resignation of RIchard Nixon during the Watergate controversy. Clinton was a lawyer and he knew what he was doing was completely illegal!
