I was at a horse show and i was jumping this huge sweetish oxer and on the landing my horse took a miss step and both of us fell (he was perfectly fine) but i broke my are but i got up brushed off the dirt and got back on (of course after me and my trainer made sure my horse was ok) brushed off the dirt and fixed it!

This video just spoke everything about my horse and I. When I got her she was terrible threw my mom of twice and just didn't listen. Many people lost faith in her we went to trainers and got told "she's nothing better than a broodmare" and that we should sell her. I respected there opinion but it wasn't about them it was about me and her. I never gave up on her when others did and stayed strong during the bad times and we prevailed. We proved everything wrong! Truly amazing video!

Hey any tips on posting a bouncy trot and keeping your legs still? On the 17th for my b-day I went riding, for the first time in a year. And only my 3rd lesson in 7yrs. Anyway!! I had the wrong riding boots, they were like high heels kinda- 4in? And I couldn't keep my legs still or my heels down. It was sloppy riding, even tho my instructor said I did OK. I can post! I did it perfect last year. Could the wrong footwear really affect my riding?

@psychojoker131 for the keeping your leg still, it's all muscle. You'll get the muscle back in no time and your leg won't move as much then. I've been riding for 13 years and when I take so much as a month break I have to work twice as hard to get myself back to where I was -you lose the muscle very quickly because they aren't muscles you use on a regular basis. Bouncy trots will get easier once you build up the ab muscles for it, I promise. You'll get there

@pyschogambitable the boots will only really affect the heel down, I have a hard time with that when I use rubber boots over my actual riding boots -on days when I accidentally forget them. But as I said, the rest of it is all muscle. Hope that helps.
