These idents are brilliant. The best are the rave, the indian dancers, the basketball + the tap dancing for me =) And I echo the sentiments of another reviewer on here: These are idents are 100% British - they're culturally diverse, and that is fantastic =)

@DaveDS123 yes it did! You're right! I always thought the girl in pink looked like and possibly was Ellie conway in Neighbours, I remember it playing around those times she was in it, every time it came on I thought "ohhh look it's Ellie..NEIGHBOURS!!"

It was commercially available on CD, so you should be able to find it somewhere online, either on sale or as a torrent. Or you could easily rip it straight from YouTube and convert it, if you have the right software and knowhow.

They took them away because they were the second worst bbc one idents ever (the 1963-2002 globe being the worst). The circle idents are the best bbc one idents ever and deserve to last 40 years like the globe

i think they used the last one on sunday mornings, and if someone died. i definitely saw it a few times but not often. to the people who say these idents weren't 'british', get real, how are they any less british than a spinning globe? if anything they show normal british people and the range of different music/activities/interests etc that make britain 'great'.

It was called Ballet, It was used for special occasions when all others weren't suitable for that prgramme, ie Queen Mothers Death. A still of it was used for that occasion.

Saying there isn't anything British about them isn't true. How do you defy British? Someone who is white, eats English breakfast whilst reading the newspaper before going to work? That's not the answer. It's someone who is born in Britain & that includes Indian, Chinese, Pakistani, as shown in this video. I'm a white Englishman & been brought up learning different cultures with interest.

It's called Ballet.Was used on air for a few weeks before being withdrawn and brought out on occasions of national importance. ie the Queen Mother dying, remembrance sunday etc. Very rare. Shame as it was the best one.
