I got turned on to Basia when i bought a collection of used tapes for my music business. When I had time, I would go through lesser known music to see if I was missing anything. What a wonderful find in Basia.. Her music is so pleasing and soothing to the musicman's rattled brain from hearing so much music. Thanks for posting this. Wonderful music...her London Warsaw New York album is one of my favorites.

I will never forget the one and only time I saw Basia live! She was supporting Billy Ocean at the Odeon New Street in Birmingham England. My friend Andy had told me about her and was absolutely raving, he was there to see her and not Billy Ocean. I was absolutely hooked, he was right. I rushed out the next day and bought Time and Tide, its still one of my all time top albums and brings back sooooooo many memories of the best decade of my life. God I miss the eighties!
