morgans are great. 1st coin i started stacking. my grandmother used to give them to me, sometimes u see one in a beltbuckle, it could b the next st, gaudens of silver...
In 1959 the Federal Minimum wage was $1.00 Per hour but if your business was entirely in a state you didn't have to pay the Federal Minimum wage. I had a job with Food Town that had stores in several states and made $1.00 an hour but some friends of mine who worked for National a store in Louisiana only only made 35 cents an hour.
And when i mean "SOME" i mean some metals such as gold , silver , or both ! even copper these days , have you noticed people HOARDING copper cents ... or is it just me?
I try to stick with small denomation coins such as DIMES , If something happens and you needed to sell or part with some of your silver , this way you would not have to part with a HUGH chunk of silver money at once and get fiat in change or just be screwed out of the other silver .., plus you can buy them pretty cheap and a few at a time without breaking your pocket book , this is just what i do but this is my choice , and god gave us all a choice , ! As long as you have some you will be safe
I have to disagree with you on this one. When the ultimate crunch comes, premiums will be minimal or vanish altogether. An ounce of silver will pretty much be an ounce of silver in any form. What will matter is silver content. I would buy strictly the silver with the lowest mark up so I can get the most ounces of money for my federal reserve notes.
The longer silver stays relatively high, the more collectible they will be as this will attract more buyers. If silver would ever crash badly, people would not be interested and others will wait 20 years to recoup not selling.
I like the peace dollar way more than the morgan dollar but I will buy morgans if there isn't anything else for silver. What are your thoughts on Peace dollars?
