  • What additional notes are you adding to the chords / harmony from 0.15 - 0.18? Your knowledge of harmony and chord structures is superb.

Thank you so much for your kind words! In the first measure of that phrase you're asking about, I play am9 (acegb), then the next measure is Gmaj7/B for the first two beats followed by Gadd6/B for the 3rd beat, then the next measure is Cmaj7, Cmaj7/B, am7, and the final measure of that phrase is Cadd6/D and D7. Hope this helps!

  • I love the arrangement, but the tempo is too fast. You shouldn't have to ritard so drastically at the end.

Yeah, I was in a phase of playing things too fast back then...

  • LOVE THIS!!! I play organ also in this style! - greetz, Dave from the Netherlands.

  • @Sesquiltera

    Thank you!

  • Great tempo! I agree that most churches sound slow and soft but "exuberant" is the way to go. Great job!

  • Very exuberant... naturally, you'll play this somewhat slower when you're leading a congregation.

    I like the intro/reharm... top-drawer stuff.
