Your machine is the original and very similar to the one above. Like anything else, there are always competitors...so I say to get one or get the other but get you kids playing *(thats what they will call it) on a golfball mini ball pitching machine. Th thousands of extra swings they will get right in their yard can and will make a huge difference!

I bought a Personal Pitcher from a recommendation of a satisfied user when my son was 6 years old. Within 1 season of using it almost daily during baseball season he went from an average hitter to the best hitter on his team. He is now 11 years old & still uses the PP. He has led his teams (regular & post season) consistently in RBI's & always bats #3 or #4 in the lineup. He and I believe the reason for his success has been the Personal Pitcher. Thank you.

Instead of using 1 ball, how about hanging a blanket or getting a lightweight net that you can hang from a wall.

You have to swing a lot...correctly of course. but thats how you will improve quickly...Keep swinging!

I use mine in my garage but those balls are very easy to lose so we just use 1 ball
