In every note my child hood comes back to me. Back in 1991 sitting infront of a 18 inch boob tube television. Sitting on the floor as a little kid playing this game and listening to these tracks. *wipes tear* ...today I blasted through the emulator version of this game on the wii and it felt great. Nothing like whooping some Knight and Queen leagues.
(I WAS 5) I remember being in one of those hotels with the games in them, and I would go to the records menu and listen to this, my dad said "Hey! you should play the game, it costs money per hour to play ya know!" And I said "shhh! I'm listening!"
I love this theme. It's so relaxing after a ludicrously difficult Master Class race! On SNES9X when you turn off the Bass (Channel #1) it sounds like a sad Game Over theme....
Whenever I hear this song I imagine myself as an old geezer on a race track with the sun setting and me just looking at the best times, high up in the sky. Heh, I might just do that.
Thats the proove that bad people dont exist, I mean we all are talking about a game here and that simple arcade game is strong enough to bind us people together! Guys we had the best childhood, Love you all ...... my generation...my proud ! ! !
when i was a kid this world was so alive to me. i imagined what people in mute city do all day. or how it is to make holiday on white land. sounds so funny, but i want my naive fantasy and imagination back.
ah i definitely know what you mean. i used to play this game like all the time. i remember my dad taking me to toys r us and getting me this game. lol
@GangBoxer I know its got a weird vibe 2 it this song. I remember me an few of my mates all used 2 meet up rnd my other mates house in the morning and play this b4 we went 2 school. Gosh thinking bout quite shocking how long ago that was now lol.

A remixed version was in the credits when you beat a cup on the highest difficulty (and also the second highest?). It's awesome.
