well not everybody is comfortable with homosexuality. It takes time to change hearts and minds. You can't convince the adults today but their children will have very different views. It is disgusting the way christians view gays, but no matter, because that's not their fault. They've been fed lies over and over about something they continue to deny is completely natural. Again, it will overtime blend into a normal acceptance and all of this will one day be history.

If you think these bigots are bad you should look into the Christian Reconstructionist set that includes Ron Paul who want to "put homosexuals to the sword." I am not kidding, those loonies are all over Texas - just look up The Covenant News and there you will find Ron Paul's Statement of Faith asking for their support AND all their articles demanding politicians to kill gay people. Now why would he ask for their support unless his ideology matched theirs?

Houston's political mob boss is a Christian Reconstructionist named Steven Hotze. No one gets into office in that area without his expressed approval and they MUST have synonymous philosophies. One more association linking Ron Paul to nefarious, ultra-conservative homo-haters. Why any self respecting gay person would support him is beyond me. Fighting the good fight is respectable, the guy with the bullhorn is awesome but I - for one - am so done with Texas.
