The building itself is quite old but it's been renovated and the interior is really nice. The time-lapse camera was mounted to the building, and the view is pointed at the employee parking lot, which is where this carport was built next to.
Cool idea...I really don't know if this will ever be practical on a large scale, but simply from a proof-of-concept standpoint, it's pretty neat.
yakyak you are right and the 180 bill to nuclear energy, and the 400 billion to the highways departments, and the 200 billion for the internet..why can't we get the country back the way the Indians had it and get rid off all these subsidies..Im with you

Is part of the cost of these systems was paid for by the taxpayers?
In return, the taxpayers got what? Higher taxes!
This is not capitalism, it is crony-capitalism aka social-fascist "public-private partnerships.
The "green special interests" have the nerve to blame capitalism for failing economies when the real problem is the power of gov't to regulate & redistribute to favor THEIR "special interest" campaign backers aka cronyism.
I see you went to the Jonah Goldberg/Glenn Beck school of trying to tie both communism AND fascism (opposite ends of the political spectrum, btw) to "liberals" and "progressives."
Nice try, but it's a completely bogus assertion, as any reputable scholar will tell you.
Crony capitalism IS a problem, but the Republicans are even worse than the Democrats when it comes to the corrosive intersection of government and corporate interests.
Ok, if GE didn't use the gov't tax breaks to subsidize these projects, they wouldn't exist. This is how GE got away with paying $0 in federal taxes, isn't it?
Here im trying to watch Aviation turbojet engine PT-6 vids i get this as a "promoted video" that has 6000 views. The other one was a Honda Eco system or some shit and the other was a GM volt car deal.
I used to work at this facility in Plainville.
