@NCSheriff7 Hotshot streamed some Kass the other day and was using Flash/Ignite too. And he destroyed Anivia in mid. Flash is OP enough that using it on Kass is still awesome. Overkill, but awesome.

@Zergikun: You see here's the thing... If you're not flashing out before the cc (and burst from it) hits you, chances are you're dead already.

@lokey57 How am I supposed to "flash out" before they can CC me? That would imply that this would be possible if they have a direct stun in their team (Sion, Ryze, Leona, etc.). Imagine if you Riftwalk in, you get a direct stun like the one from Sion right in your face and everyone jumps on you. Flash won't help you there, Cleanse however will do so for sure.

@Zergikun: Positioning is key. You see the thing is, you shouldn't be riftwalking into the fight until their cc is down to begin with. You are not a tank, you are an AP assassin. Why would you dive into their team when they still have CC? Yes, QSS or Cleanse will let you get the CC off you, but unless you're building tank on kassadin, you'll probably die to their raw burst damage anyway. Best to get out of the situation you'd be cced in with flash/riftwalk before it happens.

@lokey57 The problem is that the enemies have flash too, so that will even it out. You can't do much about it if Alistar for example flashes in, throws you up and right into the enemy team. However, you can escape him if you use QSS/Cleanse so that you can Riftwalk away.

@Zergikun: Erm... Riftwalk should still come before Flash, in most cases, as it's on a four second cooldown. If enemies burn flash to chase your riftwalk, then you use flash to extend your escape distance even further, most likely over another wall or the likes. Whereas QSS, you're still only blinking once, and in the range for nasty burst damage. So...

@lokey57 It doesn't seem like this is going anywhere, so let's just agree that we disagree. Judging by the games I've played so far, Cleanse has helped me much more than Flash did. Maybe you experienced the exact opposite.

@Zergikun: Fair enough. It's a difference in play styles for the most part. I've just found (barring QSS for the Mal ult/exhaust/ignite) that it's generally better to flash out of a bad situation before the ccing even starts then to cleanse after being caught in the bad situation and taking a ton of damage. But that's just me.
