The former CEO of JetBlue, David Neeleman, is Brazilian/American and that's why he purchased Embraer aircraft. Since leaving JetBlue, he started Azul in Brazil where he flies... Embraer E-series and has ATR's on purchase.
I just booked my first flight ever to Nashville. I am stoked but nervous at the same time lol I am going from Pittsburgh to Charlotte then on into Nashvegas. Everyone says it is fun to fly we'll see HAHAHAHA
What???...I don't recall any Slat problems with Embraer, And please don't call them Embrscare...Its just going to become another fake name like Scarebus...I think that we both know that embraer have produced some of the finest RJ's out there..
You ever work on the L1 door? Its not like a boeing or airbus where it takes little effort to open the door. You actually need both hands and upper body strength to open it.
Not like boeing????? you clearly don't know what your talkin about. I work on 738's and during training they recommend two flight attendants open the L1 door.
The 737-800 door is very easy to open. Swing lever left and push, sure it takes some effort just to secure the door but its alot easier then the 190. One the 190 you have to pull the lever, then you have to reposition your arm and push the lever as high as it will go just to get the roller bearings off of the brackets just to get the door open. You ever work on 767s? U push a freakin button and the door opens. Now thats a boeing.
no, its not easy to open, its not even that its very heavy its just "clumsy" if I had a penny for every FA that had to ask the pilot to close the L1 door id be a rich man!!! the only way smaller people can close it is to lean back as if your sitting down.

This comment has received too many negative votes show
Instead of the Embraer E190s, JetBlue should fly 737-700s

Oh man Embraer or i like to call them embrscare. Great on economy but very bad engineering. Always having a slats problem.
