The gamecube version is English.

@FateStayNight1000 well in the ending mithos the hero dies since when he went insane because of the cruxis crystal he had and that martel died his sister. after you beat him he finally returns to his senses and genis begs Lloyd to kill him while he is still himself but all together it gets better mithos becomes the new giant tree because you can actually c his soul going into the great seed and he is reborn the giant tree

@holykirby95 Pretty much. Though i'd argue it wasn't the Cruxis crystal that drove him mad, as Kratos and Yuan were both fine. Moreso it was the intolerance the different races showed towards half-elves, and eachother in general. He had seen it for a long time, and Martel really wanted to stop the intolerance...but died before she could do so, so Mithos felt it was his duty to do it for her.

Been ages since I played, but i'm pretty sure i'm on base there. Just might have forgot a few details.

i think i made a bad choice then. I had some money to buy a video game around last christmas. I had heard much about this Tales series and i wanted to giv it a try. Tales of Legendia and the Abyss were both there and i didnt know which one to pick so i just picked Legendia. I thought it was awsome, however most of the reviews i read said it sucked and Abyss was better. I really cant say much cuz im kinda new to this series

I don't understand anyone here! the reason Namco replaced this song with an orchestra was that it is actually a better fit! The orchestra better conveys emotion and depth that the game's opening is trying to convey. Well placed bass and proper use of dissonance are good examples of how the orchestra adds a more epic quality to the American release. Just because something is Anime, does not mean it should exclusively be sounded with Jpop.
