To imply evidence of biological human evolution elsewhere is to say that those humans who lived there or are descended from them are an entirely different species to those of us who did not. Further, animal husbandry has not resulted in speciation and thus is not evolution, man-made or otherwise. If you are going to preach evolution, you should understand it. We don't want blind followers: we aren't a religion.

@Paulroid hold on mate. i agree with you up to a point. but if your trying to explain to someone how evolution work domestication is normally a good start! no, you are correct, it hasnt resulted in much speciation. for example a cat from one side of the world can mate with another and still creat offspring. but it does create changes in those animals that people can see with there eyes. if you add a natural barrier. ie an ocean, and 100,000 more years, now you have speciation. agree?

However, the time required for this is specific to the species in question and particular to its generational length as well as other factors such as, with mammals, gestational periods and the amount of time spent before weaning the offspring. However, there is nothing definitive in such a scenario that speciation will necessarily occur.

but if you wanted i could do an experiment based on divisions in the gene pool between two groups of bacteria from the same original colony. if i created my own natural barrier and then created a selectivity process that would favour a certain gene in one of the groups i could create a form of speciation. i could then prove this through DNA finger printing with the funny jelly stuff that i cant remember the name off. natural selection is provable!!!!

@laserfalcon bones prove alot, because we can trace the changes in the shapes and forms of the bones through history. when we accuratly use radio carbon dating to plot the dates of these bones we can see changes in the gene pool. for example, a horse from the bronze age is small, there were no large horses in the bronze age. it took time for man through the domestication process to breed horses in a particular shape and size. we created evolution in horses through domestication. understand?

I think this world is done for in 2012..
