  • Well there you have it Shane Carwin fans, you got your wishes. Hopefully Carwin gets his early Christmas present and beats Brock for the belt and then retires.

  • shane carwin vs brock lesnar hell yeah!!

  • Rumor has it that Shane Carwin is fighting Brock Lesnar for the UFC HW belt at UFC 106.

  • I read the same:

Shane Carwin is fighting Brock Lesnar in a UFC heavyweight title battle at UFC 106, Fighters Only has been able to confirm.

Fighters Only has since been able to contact a well-placed source who has confirmed that the bout is definitely on.

The source also confirmed that Carwin has been pulled from a scheduled fight with Cain Velasquez at UFC 104.

  • na i think gsp should move to middle weight course there will be a fair size dirreance but thats why he should hes got the skills n it would be a proper challenge bj penn fought him n hes alot smaller why cant gsp fight bigger people????

  • Cause you saw what happened to BJ Penn...

  • ye he did get beat prity decisivly but thats because gsp is savage at welter bj beat matt hughes! that was a good move? i think the only thing gsp can do is move up no ones gona beable to touch him at welter only opption is middle weight for him to be challenged in any proper way!

  • GSP is a big ww but the MW's are double his size but i would love to see him give it a try he want lose any points for trying. a lot of ppl don't know this but Sambo and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu are the offshoots to judo its just that judo don't get the credit. yea shane should get a title shoot he's big a strong like brock but he has a suspect chin zaga rocked him 5 time pretty easy then zaga got ko'd

  • so what do you think is next for Gegard mousasi

  • some people including myself view anderson silva as nearly unbeatable. what style of fighter do think can cause him problems? mma corner

  • Definitely. Can't promise it will be on the next one, but this will be on a future MMA Corner.

  • oooohhh... couture or nog gets the title shot...nooooo...arg

  • Wow I never knew that you actually watched pro wrestling when you were younger..and yeah, I love the attitude era. Those were the days..I made my transition to MMA in 2006 back when Shamrock and Ortiz fought the 2nd time. I think that the hardcore MMA fans that bash on the pro wrestling fans aren't mature at all..both sides have their douche bags.

  • Hey man, great video as as always. You offer great insight and as a relatively new fan to the world of MMA, I have learned a lot of things from your videos.

This may be a little late, but what do you think on Forrest jetting from the cage after his loss to Silva and who do you think he should match up with in the future?

Personally, I would love to see Forrest Griffin vs. Wanderlei Silva.

  • I can cover this in a future MMA Corner. Thanks for the support, and If I helped one newer fan better understand this sport, then I have acheived my goal here on YouTube.

  • You're in rare form on this one man, lot's of interesting topics!

  • Well then wha other options does GSP have after his next title defense. Go to another promotion? no way. or go down to LW? how about that option?

  • I don't think Wrestling is a sport, wrestler's are athlete's like acrobats are, but you wouldn't call acrobatics/ circus a sport.

  • You mean pro wrestling? Of course it's not a sport, it's theatre.

  • hopefully Shane Carwin beats cain velasquez which he should so him and brock can fight

  • Shane deserves this shot so much.

  • i think gsp vs. henderson is a great matchup actually that i never thought of.

How far and long do you think Coker will be able to last with strikeforce against the ufc brand?

And whats up with those trophies in the background?

  • I think Cain could beat Lesnar. But As you said, the Randy/Nog winner is a more marketable fight for the UFC which = more money for them

    great vid as always.

  • Reply to lucasd213: I don't know how Cain would beat Lesnar, Carwin could, but not Cain.

Lets say for arguments sake Lesnar's and Cain's wrestling is the same, then who has better hands, more power and a better chin?

  • Cain has a great chin, if you saw his fight with Kongo, he got rocked 2-3 times and was able to keep going. And Valasquez is just about as good as a wrestler, collegiately as Brock was, I'll give you power, but Cain is a tough guy. I'm not saying he WILL beat Lesnar, or WOULD beat Lesnar, but he matches Lesnar's style pretty well.

  • Lesnar has more power, but his chin hasn't really been truly test yet and his stand-up still needs some work. Cain's striking isn't the best, but I would personally put it above Lesnar's.

  • WWE was good... when I was like 13. I find it embarrassing that adults still watch fake wrestling.

  • agreed

  • It's the same as watching a movie, a sitcom or any drama. Nobody with a brain is thinking it's real.

  • Do u think the Silva/Forrest fight might of been rigged. Silva looked just too impressive & Forrest has been hit way harder before. Dana probably wanted Silva to look extra impressive this time because of his other 2 last fights. I'm not saying it is but it did seem like it. What do u think?

  • I do not think so. You don't rig fights when the favorite wins. Usually fights are rigged for money. The UFC wouldn't sacrifice their American Star for Anderson Silva. Anderson did similiar stuff to Rich if you remember, and we saw what happened there. This was just a fight between a man on a different planet, and a guy who didn't know till it was too late what was going on.

  • The way the fight went down was crazy. I still watch that fight and just go "whoa". Thanks for the comment.

  • maybe for the next mma corner you can answer my question about Forrest's overall skill level, i left it on your page.

    thanks alot man

  • Great Video as always, totally agree with you that Carwin or Velasquez should get a shot, but its true that that fight would not match a fight with either Nogueira or Couture when it comes to selling. Personally I think either the winner of the Nogueria/Couture fight should still have to win one more match to get a shot at the title.

  • you should talk about chuck lidell being on dancing with the stars lol

  • Nice video Chase. Good topics brought up, love this segment you do.

  • I think they'll want to try and do Couture/Brock 2 for the end of the year card. Carwin or Velasquez will probably be in the crowd waiting for their shot next year.
