The Firestorm is far from stock,with a 5000Kv motor and Thunder Power 50c 100c 3's 21/87 gearing with all kinds of cooling solutions going. They were both easily besting 50 MPH at the end of the runs. I had the old worn out stock tires on it and Efirestorm was slipping all over and If I punched it would have flipped over every time. Since then I have upgraded the wheels and tires and added further cooling solution's the next vid will include maybe a GPS or radar speed showing.
no, the SHELL creates lift, unless you cut the rear window out, I'm done many speed runs with my firestorm, my limiting factor isn't the motor, its the shell lifting the front off the car, I've done some mods, but still the fastest I've gotten it to is 66mph, and thats with the shell modded, added weight at the front, and the rear arms reversed, plus a heavy 4s lipo.
you aren't doing 50mph, or the front would lift up, and simply flip it over.
@TheyDontWantMusic No its doing 50ish with 21/87 gearing and 3S probably not much more but its right up their and yes the shell does create lift "use a front end wing on brainer" Ohh and changing the rear arms does nothing "didn't think anyone was still doing that."If you wish I can link other vid's of Efirestorms doing 54 on 2S with a similar set up.
I can link some ? I'm not hear saying i'm doing 70+ all I'm say is its close to 50. You don't have to believe me,that's your choice. I'm consistently posting on the RCuniverse forums and its come to everyone conclusion that reversing the rears arms does little to nothing, but to each his own.

Yeah that was first video we ever made and our first drag runs we probably do a much better job now LOL.

nah they weren't doing 50mph.
the stock firestorm shell creates too much lift at that speed, and the car will flip over.
