Nice saber. Have to say though, the main grip below the activation matrix is very common. Not really my taste. But hell every saber is made to fit the Jedi making it. Personaly I would make one with no special markings or grooves, just solid gold (or what ever the word was for the element used in Mace Windu's saber, I forgot what it was) and a simple switch and that would be it. But again props to your prop, lol.

well actually no they wouldn't break. the "blade" is made from 6mm polycarbonate tubing. Before assembly I put the blade in a vice and smacked the hell out of it with a hammer, no breakage, just a few scrapes that i polished out.

So yes you can duel with them, they are pretty darn sturdy to say the least,

The blade is fully removable with a simple thumb screw, allowing you to wear the hilt as a costume piece too, also the blade itself is simply a polycarbonate tube will several layers of special film wrapped inside to defuse the light. In the event that you do break a blade (very very unlikely) replacements can be bought for less than $25 and fitted in seconds.
