Maybe a dumb question, but can you recuperate the helium? Because that's quite costly. We could use an airship that can be deflated.
Could a helium compressor work? After you've flown the blimp, just suck out the helium and store it in a tank.
So you can transport it in your car and re-use the helium.

watch the birds, this is sped up, you liars are so bloody annoying. . . blimps are awesome though, I'd say staying aloft with no energetic output compensates for a lower overall speed
