I love how he finds these amazing outfits for his concerts, and it seems to fit everything! it's malice mizer style.. yet it's almost like a gundam officer jacket, like someone from zion or one of the other organizations..it just crosses themes so well!!
That, I have to disagree with. You probably first heard Gackt from Final Fanatasy. I've been listening to him since his 2000 album, Mars, and by far, my favorite would either be OASIS or Vanilla. Oasis is almost at the top of my list with ROAD and MIRROR. None the less *¬* dah-rool... Gackt is an awesome singer. I hate the rumor that he's going to be retiring from singing soon.

well... the first song I listend was Vanilla, and that made me willing to hear more.
I found a performance he made in Korea where he sang Dispar and Redemption. Redemption has been my favourite from that moment.
And I learned months after that it was used in FF.
so... i don't think there must necessarily be a connection between Redemption and FF!
