I bought some spirulina and flax seed yesterday because of all the benefits. The ONLY thing about spirulina is its taste. It sort of tastes like pond scum, so I mix it in orange juice. What do you guys do to combat the flavor?
@Makeincuscibus I mix it with blueberry juice and slam it down quick. It tastes like shit. While taking this (plug your nose) while drinking it. It is NASTY.
@tealmarlin , Funny, yep that is true. i love Spirulina but haven't had any for about a year, i miss it. Also RAW Cacao nibs and coconut oil plus young coconut drinks, amazing stuff.
@johnbambammorgan I bought 250g from ebay last night for about £9.00 or about $13.00. I drink coconut water all the time too, and I now hear coconut oil is fantastic for your health, what are cacao nibs? I think I heard David wolfe say something about them
@tealmarlin , Yes david Wolfe does speak of it. nibs combined with real coconut milk, the young coconut, not the brown ones are a super powerhouse. I can send you a link for Spirulina to buy in bulk for a huge savings from a site i found some years ago. i try and find deals whenever i can. Cacao is raw chocolate in it's raw nutritious form. i use a coffee grinder with the nibs, then add to shaker container with everything in it. Email me directly so we can continue this conversation. @SuperDelta000 And now im using Maca powder and spirulina together, 30mg of Zinc per day, and 2000mg of Cod fish liver oil per day, 3 eggs per day, and drinking lots of water....the urge for sex has sky rocketed, I see my gf once a week, the sex is so exciting using this mixture feels like my penis is going to explode.
