@Dave102693 Filler episodes? The show was going to be renewed for an eleventh season. SciFi backed out as the final episodes were being produced. The writers had just enough time to throw together a series finale, but they didn't feel like they could properly resolve the show. MGM stepped in and funded two direct-to-DVD movies. The first resolved the Ori story, the second resolved Ba'al's story.

Stargate should have ending end Season 8. Maybe then SG Atlantic would've lasted a few more seasons, and other peace of trash Stargate 'I can't act to save my career' Universe hopefully would never have been made.

I love original Stargate (1994) movie and never was a fan of its TV show (I prefer Babylon 5, Farscape, Earth: Final Conflict, Lexx, The 4400 etc) but being a huge Sci-Fi fan I had to watch this movie. It was interesting to see 2 leading stars from Farscape here - Ben Browder and Claudia Black. They were brilliant. Amanda Tapping, Christopher Judge, Beau Bridges were great too but I still think that they missed a lot of action. Babylon 5 and Farscape made better "supporting" films

I am glad that they made this movie. I am glad that I watched it.... But, it was really really really bad. Was to over dramatic, the Special effects were bad and the ones that mattered were not even there! There were to many plot holes... And I mean come on.. an ARK! There has to be a better way to beat the Ori.... I mean remember how the Replicators went out. EPIC! The episode blows this "Movie" out of the water 10 fold. Along with S7 ender, and several others. Continuum was a little better....

they travel through the supergate and a moment later they are in a medieval bar.... dressing medieval clothes..... This make no sense to me.... This travel was supposed to be epic but i was just a crap... Btw the music was so unfit to stargate, i hate the music of this movie... Continuuum is far way better than this...

they will make a third SG-1 movie and an Atlantis movie Stargate: Extinction. The producers said that if all goes will they will be making one of each every year.

@voniak289 Sadly they won;t. SG-U was so terrible MGM actually shut down the whole Stargate franchise... no SG-A movie, Not 3rd SG-1 movie, both got cancelled :(
