Anyone thinks that Ron Paul is for constitutional freedom is delusional. As far as I know, he's always defended marriage equality and thinks sticky social issues like drugs, abortion, etc. should be left at the state level, not federal. He's not against gay issues; he doesn't want the government to have any say in what is or isn't marriage. I do not think Ron Paul is trying to establish a theocracy, if that's what you're worried about. His libertarianism kinda prevents that.

The reason why you see irony in my statement is because I do not value a capitalist system if it does not operate alongside liberty and humanism. the system we have right now is made worse by corporatism, groups winning government favors, and unfair trade practices. The cartoon has a powerful message but trivializes the Ron Paul movement. We are not cartoons and this feeds the attitudes that Ron Paul people are goofy. Just think how effective the ad would be with showing real TSA incidents, real dictators taking US tax payer money, and showing the bank bailouts and their goldend parachutes. As far as I know, he's always defended marriage equality and thinks sticky social issues like drugs, abortion, etc. should be left at the state level, not federal. He's a Creationist, but wouldn't enforce those views on people because it's not the President's job. Not criticizing you or calling you a liar...I just think you might have picked up some faulty intel or misinformation somewhere.

He's not against gay issues; he doesn't want the government to have any say in what is or isn't marriage. He is against abortion, I've not seen his position on euthanasia or stem cells but I suppose you could be right about them - he seems very in favor of the right to life. I do not think Ron Paul is trying to establish a theocracy, if that's what you're worried about. His libertarianism kinda prevents that.

Im starting to think Ron Paul is another puppet of the powers that be and I'll explain. I believe he is being used. He is an incredibly sensible guy something the US has not seen for a while, to see how many Americans would follow him. To see how many citizens will still resist. Of course they would never let him win the election. All Ron Paul supporters need to register in the republican party, whether they like the party or not otherwise they will not be able to vote in the primary and will kill any chance of a real ticket. 1830s-1860s was the closest the US was to free market capitalism. Republicrats and Lib-party are all capitalist in their own way--all support private property and market economy.
Republic has several meanings, it can mean state without king, people more powerful than state or--in the Proudhonian sense--means a society in which everyone participates in the democratic process. also, the greek word for Republic is Demokratia which also means democracy.

Corporatism is A form of capitalism. Furthermore, you didn't get my point. My thesis is: the invisible hand of the market will always move towards government intervention in the economy. Free markets will always move towards corporatism as corporatism is in the self-interest of the capitalist class.
And yes, government is always tyranny and taxation is always theft, therefore Ron Paul is still a (potential) tyrannical thief although he steals and dominates less.

There are a lot of congressmen that don't pay taxes, but Ron Paul wouldn't get away with such a thing. He's too hated by the establishment. They'd be salivating at that opportunity. I wish I really believed that the skinny slacker in this cartoon really gave a d about conserving his liberties. He's the demographic that elected the current liberty-suckers in the White House now. Also, the guy at the end looks more like Ed McMahon than Ron Paul. Other than that, nice effort.

@chumgrinder25 So I'm confused, I knew what demographic was defined as, I just didn't know whether you were referring to him being old and white or his fans being young. People who support Ron Paul, I think you'll find, are more knowledgeable than the average Obama supporter, when it comes to the young people anyway.

The cartoon has a powerful message but trivializes the Ron Paul movement. We are not cartoons and this feeds the attitudes that Ron Paul people are goofy. Just think how effective the ad would be with showing real TSA incidents, real dictators taking US tax payer money, and showing the bank bailouts and their goldend parachutes. Dont get me wrong, the message is 100% perfect. But the cartoon dumbs down a great message.

i absolutely adore Ron Paul. He seems to be a voice of reason in a cloud of smoke. I just wish he would change his pro "life" stance. He was almost perfect.

he's pro-life but he feels abortion legalization/illegalization doesn't need to be decided by the federal government, samel as with prostitution, drugs, gay marriage, etc. he's leaving it up to the states.

The voices sound a little too similar in my opinion.
Ron looks pretty old.
I love your vids though and would love them to be used in the campaign!
