  • This is amazing. I can't wait for it to become cheap enough (is that why it's not out yet?) for consumer use.

My nephew will grow up and ask, "Uncle, is it true TV was only 2D when you were growing up?" Then I'll smack him upside the head :P .

    -IMP ;) :)

  • How?!

  • what kind of voodoo magic is this?

  • so unlike 3d tv etc, holografika, and similar cannot move/animate?

  • ???

The car moves on this video too...

See "Holografika" user channel for more videos.

  • you can do this wish johnny lees wiimote hack for the price of a usb bluetooth, a wiimote and a sensorbar... except there is no software that supports it appart from the johnny lee software

  • what do you mean by:

"Objects appear behind or even in front of the screen like on holograms"

  • Displayed objects look like being in a window. The screen itself is not visible.

  • cool

  • Not head tracker! Field of view is about 60 degrees. There is about one view per degree, so your eyes feel continous the 3d image, as you move in front of the display. "no top-to-bottom parallax!" -Your eyes are arranged horizontally by nature.

  • there is no headtracking going on...

  • wat ever but i didndt know that u can computerize holograms

    thats kool

    i like it

  • i want a tv like that!

  • Again a product by Hungarian inventors!

Thank you for Hungary!!! You are one of the best nations of EUROPE!!!!! yeeeeeee

  • Imagine... a world with no Rubix Cubes... : (

  • NOOOOO!!!!! :D

  • 1. There is no top-to-bottom parallax!

    2. The viewing angle of this is very restricted. It breaks down at shallow side angles.

    3. It can only show very shallow scenes. Notice they only show one object that only gives hints at the depth. Why don't they show the vehicles pointing straight at us, thus forcing you to move to the side to see what it is. Where are the multiple objects showing how the near objects occlude those in the back?

    5. In summary, it's another trick.

  • dude...

    1. Get a life

    2. Find something better to do with your time

    3. Its first gen. technology, and very impressive compared to pre-existing forms of hologram.

    4. " no top-to-bottom parallax!" Was the exclamation point really necessary? And who gives a shit, this may come as a shock to you, but star trek and the accompanying holodeck is fiction. "another trick" Seriously, not even going to justify that with a response.

  • i dont understand how is that supposed to look like its in front of the t.v.

  • Give it time, that all just time. We have come form beating two rocks together to make fire; now we have marvles that can only be called magic.

  • even though it doesn't go up its still pretty impressive i don't knkow how it could work with a non computer generated picture but its deffinately cool as hell

  • You never see the camera move up or down ... always left-right and, even then, within a very limited range. Still quite impressive though!

  • Yup impressive. But it would be real impressive 2 show us some 3D porn!!

  • The sweet thing in this is that the software written for the hardware automatically displays the CAD or other 3D models without any conversion. So just wait a couple of years, and you shall be able to connect the HoloVizio to you computer, as you connect you monitor today, and play OpneGL games with it. You run Quake III, and see everything in 3D as you move your head around. So theoritically you could run 3D SexVilla, and play with that in real 3D:)
