So instead of actually taking action to fix the problem, they are kicking the can down the road, instead of picking it up and fixing the problem. They are more interested in fixing blame than fixing problems.

Well, You have to consider the fact that the big three are in this mess because the people effectively voted with their wallets.
Foreign companies are putting out cars that get 40-50-60 MPG meanwhile american cars are getting 25 tops. and no one wants them.
So instead of changing to meet the times, these big three fight more efficient vehicles and so they lose money cause no one wants them.
Now they sit there with their hands out? no f***ing way. If this passes ALL companies will do that
