you're right. martin would be a good upgrade to the shooting guard position. which is why we should have traded ariza or battier for him...not our most efficient paint scorer. jordan hill is a project with tons of upside. if we HAVE to get rid of a PF though....you get rid of the one with the least upside, that would be scola who's at his ceiling.

And since you want to bring stats in the picture, notice how his averages are going up each season (Except for rebounds which actually dropped since the previous year). Kevin Martin is a great player, but not even close to overrated as there are plenty of people that don't even know he exists. If people were talking about him like they talk about Rondo then yes, I would say he's overrated. Until then, he's just a good player.

Martin is good, but that statement just isn't accurate. CP3, Deron Williams, Nash, Kobe, Lebron are MUCH more efficient than Martin. Martin is pretty one dimensional: only scoring. The others have a more well rounded offensive skill set. The first 3 can shoot AND pass. Kobe and Lebron are the two best players in the world.

Ha. How is what I said BS? Offense involves more than scoring. It involves FG% and assists as well. As far as I can see, he's not even close in anything other than scoring, and he's not that close in scoring to begin with. His numbers will be comparable with Kobe's this year but that's just because Kobe won't score much with his loaded team.  However he won't even approach the offensive efficiency of CP3, Lebron, Wade, etc.
