If you shoot her in the head she's stunned and the "startle" emote doesn't actually take effect until she's actually coming for you. - This only applies to the hunting rifle as far as I am aware... However in L4D2 I once accidentally meleed a wandering witch in the head and she was stunned somehow because when I realised what I'd meleed (I thought she was a zombie) I back-peddled and pumped her full of shot gun shells and she didn't incap me at all... @Kytten9 the wandering witch is very hard to anger,the sitting witch is less aggressive even compared to the l4d1 counterpart, might be for balancing reasons,the l4d witch only needs 2 seconds to wipe out half of the incapp bar, it takes the l4d2 counterpart more. it completely covered for in realism vs and realism where she instantly kills,and is more resistant to dmg.jockeys make cr0wning harder, in realism vs extreme caution is advised even if your going for the cr0wn, i just burn her.
@Kytten9 obiously you've never been pounced on by hunter when trying to cr0wn the witch, yes i,ve cr0wned the witch while a smoker grabbed and boomer slimed me, but they had a hunter as a trump card. don't get to cocky now if the infected start noticing this a hunter won't scratch they'll pounce instead. people with auto shoties are often cocky cause they have the power to kill witches effectively without a fight semi-decent hunter players take advantage of this, just don't get over-confident ok

@Kytten9 im not serious, just recommend u not to get cocky,in realsim vs 1 body shot isn't enough and she attacks faster (so fast in that u can only get 2 shots on her at if she's sitting.) i just burn her and at mid range unlaod the whole shotgun clip on her, i usually kill her in 2 seconds with this method. hunters can crouch and conceal her just like boomers, if i startle a witch at a distance i usually run at her then shoot at mid-range but she almost claws and incapps me but it works though

Mrlv44 is kinda right. In versus, and campaign (advanced and lower) there is no need for a head shot. In expert you will need to shoot the head and hope all shells hit the hitbox.

I am well aware of that. But if you read the comments at the end of the video it says the video is not to demonstrate skillz but merely to demonstrate theory. Very few people can crown the witch from the start standing and doing it quickly. Nerves normally get the better of them. So crouching is kinda fool proof.
Nice system! The only problem with waiting in regards to using a shotgun is that often in a versus match if you have a team who's any good at all they don't give you the extra time to deal with her. They'll slash you or pounce or boom, etc. It's worth practicing speed crowns without crouching for this purpose as well, especially with the pump because if you don't kill her and you need another shot, there's no way you can get it off before she downs you if you're crouched. You dont HAVE to use the Auto Shotgun because you WONT always have 1. It also proves that when using an Auto Shotgun you dont HAVE to be in front & you dont HAVE to shoot her in the head.
Cr0wned is achieved by one shot killin the witch (firing 1 shot from either shotgun & that 1 shot killin her)
Do Not Disturb is achieved by not DISTURBIN the witch durin the campaign. If you cr0wn the witch without the "You startled the witch" message appearing once. Then you will achieve Do Not Disturb.
Just go up to hur and when she is standing use a auto shotgun in hur face one hit kill oh and you have to be at the frunt worked forme got crownd and do not disturd all in the one campain.

its not hard videosurfer. i learned how to pump shotty crown first month of the game release >.>. and in a scrimmage between pros if the guys are up the molotov and gun her down ussualy works.

You dont HAVE to use the Auto Shotgun because you WONT always have 1. It also proves that when using an Auto Shotgun you dont HAVE to be in front & you dont HAVE to shoot her in the head.
Cr0wned is achieved by one shot killin the witch (firing 1 shot from either shotgun & that 1 shot killin her)
Do Not Disturb is achieved by not DISTURBIN the witch durin the campaign. If you cr0wn the witch without the "You startled the witch" message appearing once. Then you will achieve Do Not Disturb.

Just go up to hur and when she is standing use a auto shotgun in hur face one hit kill oh and you have to be at the frunt worked forme got crownd and do not disturd all in the one campain.
