  • Wow.... usability design fail. I like how the VERY FIRST INITIAL step he takes in this program involves clicking on the most. possible. obscure. ui location: A inset groove divider line.... with a right click.

  • I think im going to get it. Thanks for the tutorial, I cant wait until I can get Maya though. Press 1 for hump.

  • and i use blender 2.6

  • i do have a question for you what would you think i should do to create a easy game i already know the hotkeys i just need something to start out in to understand blender better please awsner to this question thank you mikenku

  • I found this video a great help as a Max user! :)

  • how the fu*k can u even start with this screen....cmon,u didnt even teach us how to switch to this screen...you know that we dont start with this when we open blender 2.5

  • at least, now I understandhow things are working n Blender. Thanks, great tutorial :-)

  • Wonder brother, Thanks

    ;)

is there any connectivity betn blender and XNA?

  • Thanks dude you are so helpful!!! Also I have just graduated from Anim8or!!

  • god damn it...Flying a jumbo is more easier than this...but this video sure is helping me out alot thanks (yea I'm a Max person, but want to learn beyond 3D max)

  • yeah my problem with the middle mouse button is that even if I have it, I can't move the screen like you do because my widgets appear (mac user)... so any help please...

  • I'm using a Mac on Blender. I don't really know anything on it. What can I do to help me?

  • I want to make a game in Blender sooooooooo bad so now i shall practice until i can!!! Any help is great thanks :D Nice Vid

  • PPS basically anything that needs the MMB can just be substituted with Alt

  • P.S. Alt+left click can let you move too

  • Blender is awesome, 3d max is too outdated. and is in the Tier of Maya so why not take the free choice

  • tut tut roxanne??:D nice vid dude, rly helped im subscribing

  • Get it together, Roxanne.

  • For those that dont have a middle mouse button, you can use the numpad.

  • were can i get that list?

  • no way blender is to hard i am getting 3ds max

  • Riding a bike is hard at first, but then you learn how to ride it, and then it is easy. Photoshop is hard at first, but then you learn it, and you can do almost anything in it. Everything in life is hard at first, and it is impossible for any program or any aspect of life to be so intuitive that you don't have to spend time learning it. Plus, Blender is open source and cross platform.

  • i have a mac and some of the stuff u say i can't do

  • Use can use alt + LMB rather tan the middle mouse.

  • what blender is it? i have 2.5.2 but it doesnt have split areas ...only top bottom...dam

  • blender is nice because you can make your own view ports not set for you you decide how many split window

i think its actual in this video on how to do this

  • you dont hit the brown box. you have to hit the line in the middleof both bars todo splits.

  • i don't have a numpad...

  • oh snap. all i have is a laptop. is there anyway to get around that?

  • Are you doing this at work? Btw good tutorial.

  • I love the free mag BlenderaRT

  • thanks!
