yeah my problem with the middle mouse button is that even if I have it, I can't move the screen like you do because my widgets appear (mac user)... so any help please...

PPS basically anything that needs the MMB can just be substituted with Alt

Blender is awesome, 3d max is too outdated. and is in the Tier of Maya so why not take the free choice

Riding a bike is hard at first, but then you learn how to ride it, and then it is easy. Photoshop is hard at first, but then you learn it, and you can do almost anything in it. Everything in life is hard at first, and it is impossible for any program or any aspect of life to be so intuitive that you don't have to spend time learning it. Plus, Blender is open source and cross platform.

blender is nice because you can make your own view ports not set for you you decide how many split window
