  • 19:00 that really woke me up to the reality of being in outer space

  • the thing is the moon is just the start - its the closest heavingly body to us so is a great place to start - to explore and to test and practice on so we can begin to understand our universe and push outwards into it - to cancel our future like this is just awful. we dont do this because it is easy - we do it because it is hard =]

  • @adamb0000, since when is being "hard" a sufficient reason to do something? It's a completely lame reason if there's an easier way to do the same thing.

"We do it because we believe it will empower us to do more" would have been a better answer.

  • @ananiasacts 'we dont do this because it is easy - we do it because it is hard' is a famous quote from JFK when he announced the US was to send man to the moon the first time. maybe if JFK was still alive you could tell him the flaws of his quote.

  • Moon should be discovered in more detailed way especially on it's poles where the water deposits been discovered. Learning about the Moon - answering to who are we and how both Earth and Moon were created. Obama wants to bury this great plan. I hope the Congress wont sign the Constellation programme cancellation. Alabama, Florida and Texas the biggest contributors to the Constellation programme have vowed to fight the cancellation.

  • @SouthernSky, Why put people on the moon instead of robots? We need better robots a lot more than anything else in my opinion. Read Joel Salatin's book "Everything I Want To Do Is Illegal" to see most of the reasons our government wastes so much money. Our biggest problem is our food, and only robots can make natural wholesome foods cheap and mutualistic. The same sort of robots that would be useful for exploring extraterrestrial places. We need NASA to address this issue.

  • Yes I agree with robots and non manned stations, this is the future. On the other hand look, Mars Rover have been stuck and runs out of time.with robots there will be no cool nasa feeds from the station like here above, and robots wont say "It suddenly struck me that that tiny pea ..." Regards.

  • Read the FY2011 NASA Budget...This is what I want to say about it:!!!I NEED MORE INFO!!!..Some or most stuff doesn't make any sense at ALL..

  • thanks for these

  • i just heard news that Obama's budget would cancel moon exploration. now, i am 1 of the few people who agree with Obama on most occasions but i just have to say (and i dont want to say this on a NASATV vid, but i must express myself), FUCK YOU OBAMA! SPACE ROCKS!! SPACE EXPLORATION IS THE ADVANCEMENT OF THE HUMAN RACE!!!!

  • I totally agree

  • @sorry8140 where did you hear this? i hope its not true

  • go to NASA and at the front,FY2011 NASA Budget. :(

When reading the budget proposal. Most or some doesn't make any sense.

  • i saw a news story about it - for the budget he wants to scrap the return to the moon as is billions over schedule - and NASA have said they didnt plan on sending man back to moon when bush decided to so are behind and under funded. it really looks like they are going to pull it - which is killing me as they would have been back to the moon within 10 yrs =[

  • :( I went to College because I know I have a goal...Moon,Mars goal...I guess it would be a tough one :(.I hope the Congress doesn't make a mistake about it.

  • @Chrisjr2007 they should leave it alone and try and cut bankers bonuses who get billions a year still when they screwed our economy up so bad we had to pay to bail it out - and yet they are still getting huuge bonus while space programmes are cut - it makes me sick

  • same here...I agree with you and I guess almost everyone here does.

  • @Chrisjr2007 thats the thing though - its like a handful of people

  • @adamb0000, Do you really want the government telling employers how much than can pay their employees? That cure is more toxic than the disease. I'd rather we remove all of the hidden subsidies that disconnect the price we pay for some things from the true cost of providing them. That's the largest transfer of wealth going on, and how the wealthy are most heavily subsidized by the poor.

  • @ananiasacts in this situation yes - the government should certainly tell the bankers what they can earn right now - this isnt wages though - its huuuge BONUSES - to the people who caused all this debt that taxes paid for - why shouldnt they have put their own money in AND get of lightly on tax. we bailed out the bankers with our taxes - now there is little tax money left so we have to shut down the moon programme while they still get bonuses - something is wrong there and they dont care

  • Very interesting.

I like how Nasa's videos get 3'000 views tops while a baby biting another babies finger has 155 million.......

  • it shows you something about the state of the world doesn't it

  • @buchan23

simple, ppl r ignorant. Or no one every tought them what is not to be ignorant. :)

  • It is really great to listen to you.

  • how does pee look like in space? without gravity and all?.

  • interesting question

  • or how do you pee out there?

  • dumb questions, were already asked thousands of times

  • lol the guy on the left with his hands and the guy on the right with his hands :D

Interesting to know how life is up there high in the sky :)
