if you have multiple google accounts--I have several indispensable ones: work-related, youtube, gmail, school acct, and one for any other situations that require anonymity--does logging out of one google account log you out of the OS?!

@ThisIsMyDeen No. You can still log into the services on the web page like normal. Most of them (like Gmail) even support multiple accounts, so you can be logged into multiple accounts at the same time.

the reason that it is much faster in the virtual machine, is because the drivers for the OS are designed to work perfect for "virtual machine components". there's still A LOT of work that needs to be done, I'm sure the OS will not be complete for atleast two years. I'm just guessing though.

But whats the point of it if you can't download pictures or have photoshop on your computer or any kind of editing stuff? Trust me, if you are a web designer like me you don't just get on the internet (but you still use the internet ALOT) you store your files in your computer and flash drive.

Chrome OS is nothing more than booting your PC in a web browser mode, bypassing any real OS start-up. I don't see any support for anything apart from things that can be done with the web browser. And last I checked, computers are used more for other things. Browsing the net is a large part, but not enough to warrant an entire 'OS' to be running on it.

Yes, I will pledge to the fact that your flash drive is completely slowing down the speed of your laptop. When I run Chrome off of my MacBook Air (first generation) SSD, it is about 20 times as fast as your laptop is running everything. Boot after OS selection takes about 2.8 seconds.

I like google but, its browser poses an unprecedented threat to consumers. 1. Asynchronous communications.

Translated to human speak, this is simply the Google "Suggest" feature. When you start typing in the search field it asyncronously send the data back to google so they can suggest what you are looking for.

2. Whats the problem with that? The more the lines are blurred the more better we are for it and the easier "cloud" computing becomes.

3. When you start Incognito mode it explains what Incognito mode quite specifically.
