you are causing an adverse pressure gradient maybe dcrease the cross sectionala are of the noxzzle

should at least get rid of the low pressure

and wont start to choke until you reahc mach one exhaust speed you hsould have plenty of head room

@AlBarathur It isn't supposed to be a jet, rather it's a jet that is converting energy from heat, into the other end of a shaft on the turbine, you would need a significant gear reduction, but decent power could be made once that is done, it would very easily move a brick then ;-)

I would've shut that engine down forty seconds before you guys ran it to failure. It started spitting out red hot particles which would've been my cue that the metal was starting to disintegrate from overheating. Very dangerous operating procedure imo. I hope a lessoned was learned.

heres a tip for anyone planning to make 1. use a check valve on propane cylender. 2. use a decent sized combustion chamber. 3 dont get a water cooled turbo, it will heat the water to fast and cause a major blow out. 4. STAND WELL BACK

your shit is running way to hot. Try reducing your holes on the front side of your combustor. That will help push the flame back inside your flame tube. Or you don't have enough evaporator stix for flame stabilization.
