Nuestras barquillas para trabajos en tensiòn son de dos cestas para dos operarios y trabajamos con lineas de hasta 66 Kv.
I am a Jy. Lineman from Ibew local 1245 Vacaville California, I want to commend you on your video portraying the life and the dedication it takes to be a Lineman. To all my brothers in the trade be careful always remember to Be Safe, Be your Brothers Keeper and Remember the next guy who will be working on the pole after you.
if neone is on the east coast look up pike electric thats where i work as a c class lineman good job pretty good company. they r the largest on the east coast.
Be safe all the linemen throughout the world. You are the first responders to "Lights Out" and I have nothing but respect. I had a chance to be a lineman but the hub's had a heart attack thinking that I would actually do it. Well, he won and I lost and for that I am sorry because I could have done it..I really could have.
so, good wishes to all all our linemen. God Bless You Alll
this is a great video and thanks to the person that made it whether guy or lady. I myself am i young linemen i am still in school i have four or five more weeks to go in the class. When i am done i hope to have a job with some company doing something that i like to do i cant wait to be in the linmen fold now i know i will have alot of linemen brothers out there so you guys be safe always.
Im graduating highschool this year and going to a high voltage lineman course at OSU in Oklahoma. Is learning to climb poles hard and could you guys give me any pointers that i could use to my advantage before i go to school next year? The top 10 in class get to choose where they do their internship and i want to be one of the top guys! Thanks!
My husband is a lineman as well. I have so many pictures that are very similar to these. The... um... "Lineman Salute" must be a universal gesture, LOL!!! Be safe out there!
@indylineman Thanks for the quick response but a couple more questions.. Did you have any experience in the field as a groundsman or anything or did you go into the program knowing nothing? After the program did you start right into an apprentice or did you start as a groundsman and work into it?
I havent been in the trade for very long but theres no job i woul rather do, and this video reminds me of that. If you are watching this video and are wondering what is so great about, well you just wouldnt understand. Linemen work hard but have tons of fun doing it.
After a hurricane, just about everything looks like an"abortion".....That comment was the only thing you could come up with from a 14 and a half minute video zethora34?

THE LINEMANS PRAYER
DEAR HEAVENLY FATHER,
I PRAY TO GUIDE ME THROUGH EACH LINEMANS DAY
AS I GO INTO THE SNOW HAIL OR HEAT
WHATEVER YOUR AWESOME CREATION THROWS AT MY FEET
ALTHOUGH SOMETIMES IT IS TOUGH TO CLIMB A SLIPPERY POLE COVERD WITH ICE
I KNOW IT MUST BE DONE TO KEEP CONSUMERS HAPPY AND NICE
I THANK YOU DEAR LORD FOR THE SUNSHINE AND COOL BREEZE AS I STAND AT THE TOP OF THE POLE AND DONT FREEZE
SO LORD BE WITH ME AS I GO ON MY WAY TO GUIDE ME THROUGH ANOTHER SAFE DAY IN JESUS NAME AMEN
