Christians do not generally want people arrested for insulting christianity, it is not applied in any christian laws. It is in islamic law though which is applied throughout the muslim world and the muslim rampage about it. But you can go live in your bubble of hypothetical realities.

@122172639 Yes I have studied islamic theology exensively. I can give you many examples for why it is beyond doubt. One only has to read the Quran though to realize its reasonable conclusions. The christian theology is very different from the islamic. As an example Jesus and Muhammad are two very different rolemodels and the nature of the texts are different. The Quran is in a more commanding form and more obsessed with downgrading people outside the faith. Islam also has a doctrine for warfare.

Good points well made. The only thing I disagree on is the right to wear a burka. While in principal I'm fine with it, in practice it's not that simple. People are not allowed to go into banks or government buildings wearing a bikers helmet or a balaclava, they'll be asked to take them off. Most businesses are the same. It's a security thing, and while the claim "one who sacrifices a little liberty to gain a little security, will deserve neither and loose both" is well loved, it's wrong I feel.
If Christianity had as much actual power as it has on paper, we'd all be doomed. Christianity was once one of the greatest threats to human civilization, it played a major part in the fall of Rome and the only reason it's so domesticated today is because centuries of reformers and secularists have dragged it into the twenty first century, kicking and screaming and clawing all the way.

How Paul died remains, to this day, unknown. And besides all that, there were no gospels, only word of mouth legends. @122172639 Yes I have studied islamic theology exensively. I can give you many examples for why it is beyond doubt. One only has to read the Quran though to realize its reasonable conclusions. The christian theology is very different from the islamic. As an example Jesus and Muhammad are two very different rolemodels and the nature of the texts are different. The Quran is in a more commanding form and more obsessed with downgrading people outside the faith. Islam also has a doctrine for warfare.

Good points well made. The only thing I disagree on is the right to wear a burka. While in principal I'm fine with it, in practice it's not that simple. People are not allowed to go into banks or government buildings wearing a bikers helmet or a balaclava, they'll be asked to take them off. Most businesses are the same. It's a security thing, and while the claim "one who sacrifices a little liberty to gain a little security, will deserve neither and loose both" is well loved, it's wrong I feel.

How Paul died remains, to this day, unknown. And besides all that, there were no gospels, only word of mouth legends. Christians really started getting violent around the turn of the first century, they became a darkness that spread throughout the Roman empire.

@bossman103 In africa christians are killing muslims, and pretty much anyone who stands in their way. A lot of the violence is reciprocal on both sides.
But that's not the case in Uganda. Uganda is a Christian country, do you know what happens to Muslims, Atheists, "Witches" and Homosexuals in Uganda?

@bossman103 Should you really be surprised when pro-Israeli Christians start getting singled out? It's not that "Christians are genocided" in egypt, it's that there's a lot of factional violence among certain communities, and the best the government can do is try to keep it in check.

Hey Rich, you would think if the 'christian' majority is so damned paranoid of a future muslim take over, they would ensure the laws of today are fair and just toward all people of any faith, so when they lose their majority the newer majority would be used to the fairness of the law for all.
