I don't think you need to coach the beaver and praise its success. ;) Chances are it doesn't even know you're there or it would have swam away already.
Damn, excuse the pun. Beavers must be higly inteligant, WOAH, an animal that builds damns, whats next, monkeys running some sort of primate postal service?
where i live we trap these cause they can be a big problem like we trap for a guy thats back yard is being flooded because all the beaver there building dams its about 300ft from the back of his house now but we are fixing it trapping the beaver beautiful animal but at times we need to control their numbers
