I have this car and the rear suspension goes out all the time... To replace each air bags is about $1,100 at the dealership. I hate it...

Bugger, I was about to buy a w211 with this suspension, now I am put off, all this sounds expensive

I'll have to watch this every time I think about buying a Mercedes. The process for new rear shocks on my Volvo 240 involves four bolts. Mercedes are fun to drive though.

What a huge amount of work just to change out those air springs.
