  • I am a registered nursing student. I was looking for information on M.S. Thank you for posting these videos. Very helpful. I hope you are still making progress in walking.

  • @HonuGirl50 Thats a great profession. My mom was a nurse for many years. I'm happy the videos were able to help. And yes I'm making great progress walking :)

  • you're not alone. The "drunkin' toddler" walk was possibly the worst.

  • yea and dont listen to fucking doctors as they dont know shit but they are quick to act when they need to crush your spirit.

  • I agree with ya 100%

  • I'm newly diagnosed and I needed to see that. Thank you.

  • I was dx with MS in: Dec, 2008. And, it has been a journey.. that I am taking one day at a time.. I feel no shame.. and, I openly talk about my feelings to my fam & friends. Since being dx.. I've just completed a CNA program and will be starting an LVN program real soon.

I have so much to live for.. I refuse to let MS dictate what I can/cannot do.

Thank U so much 4 posting this video.

    Blessings,

    PurposedD

  • That was me! They told me to stay still. I got up and kept on falling over and then I walked

  • God bless you Brotha! I'm 29 and I was diagnosed 3 years ago. Sometimes it does feel like the end of the world, but you're right, one must stay inspired and strong. I hear this disease is especially aggressive with we African-Americans. I'm about to start rituxan and I am very hopeful. Good luck to you!!!

  • Thanks brotha....many blessings yo you as well :)

  • african americans are more prone to vitamin D deficiency because of a darker skin tone. Vitamin D modulates the immune system and helps with MS.

  • how can you tell these people mylen has nothing to do with ms i am a nurse and i know better plus i have ms somethings wrong with your diagnosis . you can not speak for all my friend good luck

  • mylen sheath is the nerve fiber that gets damaged it has everything to do with the disease not this doctor. upset...

  • I am a was a registered nurse and ms has everything to do with the mylen sheath thus the name multiple sclerorsis you bettter be up and up with these people they are as well as me are suffering anough the mylen around the nerve fiber gets damaged thus get dead called sclerotic.... so i don't know what your pushing here about chrioprators with there names but this disease has no cure

  • Dr. Ming Qing Zhu On November 24, 1987 at the First International Conference on Acupuncture and Moxibustion in Beijing, something unprecedented happened.

A young doctor was asked to demonstrate a new form of acupuncture that few people had heard of. Two stroke patients he had never met were wheeled in from a hospital. After 15 minutes of seated treatment, the patients stood up and, to everybody's astonishment, walked across the stage.

check this out for yourselfs, it is well documented.

  • Over 20 years ago? Well, I guess this unprecedented "new acupuncture technique" never really caught on as a treatment for MS. Or any other serious disease or a sickness, for that matter. We´re all still waiting. Anybody with a cure for this, whether its acupuncture or a herb or a massage or a pill or a diet or a prayer that works, will receive an outrageously grateful BJ from me and many many others, I assure you. Start reading facts about MS, they´re pretty well documented also.

  • You want proof "Dermot O'Connor" i rest my case

  • Just try to rest. Period.

  • and a healthy diet would make this go away. Unfortunately they wouldnt.

  • thank you so much for that info. I will do that :)

  • I think the doctors have it all wrong, MS has nothing to do with the mylein, the cause is 2 things, the spine being out of line/ and the muscles around the spine are really tight and causing the nerves to pinch etc, please have your spine checked and get a massage and i bet you find the small muscles near the spine really tight.

  • Man, I wish you were right. If you had MS yourself U wouldnt be sayin that stuff. I have the fn thing and I did all that spine checking/massaging/wondering whether it was a nerve pinch- thing before the diagnosis. Unfortunately the doctors have it right sometimes, this IS multiple sclerosis, and it has something to do with myelin being attacked by the body´s own immune system. Or something. Infections in the brain and spinal cord. Our muscles & spine have been checked. I wish a good massage

  • Thanks for the positive info.
