i'm with rogers also and yes of course these phones take sim cards. you have to make sure though its not the phone for bell or something. and no you dont have to get a new number just get the sim card from your current phone and use it on this one

I just recently purchased the HTC Dream and I absolutely love it. When I was at the store I was trying to decide between that and the Magic and was told that the Magic gets returned a lot because of the battery overheating. I haven't had a problem with the Dream yet but the battery life isn't overly great. Smart Phones do a lot of processing so it's to be expected. I do recommend the Dream though. It's pretty sweet.

Dude, they are completly different.

The g1 has a qwerty keyboard which you can type accurately and fast on. The iphone has an on screen keyboard which is ugly, unresponsive and you get way too many mistakes with it.

Everything in the android market is FREE. Whereas pretty much everything on the apple store costs.

There are tonnes of differences mate.
