I live in sweden in linköping, just like an hour away from vimmerby. we got 140,000 citizens and its the 5th biggest town in sweden, so its a bit bigger. i can really understand that you dont like vimmery, i dont either. sweden is pretty foreign even if youre a swede. have you been to stockholm gothenburg or skåne? cus those are the good places in sweden. btw i met jonas brothers just yesterday in stockholm, as i know you know them :) i hope they had a better time in sweden than you did:/

Cool that you rented bikes in Copenhagen. I live there and would recommend everybody to rent a bike here, because then you'll have the oppotunity to experience "the vibe" of the city. I hope you saw some of the less-turisted things.
The graduates in Denmark also drives around in big cars and hear music and get drunk. I actually don't know how the tradition started, but it's lots of fun! Two weeks until graduation here in Denmark.

First of all Robert I know that feeling to feel foreign. When I was in Croatia I had that feeling, too. I didn't know anything! The language, the money... everything was different for me.

Robert! You shouldn't discourage people from travelling! Touring isn't the best way to explore the world, clearly - you need to take time out from everything, go to the capital cities and the main sights to see, and really experience the country! It's easier for people who can speak languages, for example I'm studying French and German at University, but really, I'd love to travel all over the world, not just Europe.
haha.i thought robert was going to break out into social distortion's "story of my life" at the end. call me a risk taker i'd rather go somewhere and throw myself into the life or just observe it (and i've put my money where my mouth is and done just that) than sit at home wondering if what i see on the tube is exactly how it is in real life. doc or not you can never be too sure unless your emersed into that element.

i love how you're like "if you want to go explore the world, i recommend the planet earth series, and don't leave your hometown." sooo funny! i saw you guys in madison, wi in april and you were unreal, and so i have become one of those obsessed fans that watches every youtube video. are you going to be touring more after the initial summer one back in the united states? because you don't really come anywhere near me...which is really depressing. just wondering...

Cool that you rented bikes in Copenhagen. I live there and would recommend everybody to rent a bike here, because then you'll have the oppotunity to experience "the vibe" of the city. I hope you saw some of the less-turisted things.
The graduates in Denmark also drives around in big cars and hear music and get drunk. I actually don't know how the tradition started, but it's lots of fun! Two weeks until graduation here in Denmark.

Perhaps in this moment you don't like to stay around because you are at the end of a phase and at the beginning of a new phase and you are just tired. Every change produce a certain uneasiness because at the beginning you don't know what really arrive and if the decisions which you will take are appropriate,it neede much energy.. First of all Robert I know that feeling to feel foreign. When I was in Croatia I had that feeling, too. I didn't know anything! The language, the money... everything was different for me.

Robert! You shouldn't discourage people from travelling! Touring isn't the best way to explore the world, clearly - you need to take time out from everything, go to the capital cities and the main sights to see, and really experience the country! It's easier for people who can speak languages, for example I'm studying French and German at University, but really, I'd love to travel all over the world, not just Europe.

haha.i thought robert was going to break out into social distortion's "story of my life" at the end. call me a risk taker i'd rather go somewhere and throw myself into the life or just observe it (and i've put my money where my mouth is and done just that) than sit at home wondering if what i see on the tube is exactly how it is in real life. doc or not you can never be too sure unless your emersed into that element.

i don't think you know small town until you have been to mine..
when i was in the czech republic, we couldn't find regular coffee or water anywhere..it was either mineral water or espresso that we got.
and it's not easy trying to tell a czech person how you want regular water if you only know how to say "good day."

For all the none-travellers out there...it is great to be and live in different countries and places. You really cannot experience the world from your living room. That is not how it works. What is more it is not the same...I mean you cannot replace TV with real life experience and what you really feel when you see it yourself. And you know what Robert it is sometimes good to feel like a foreigner!!!!Makes me at least think about a lot of things. So people travel the world, have some fun.
