Many Doce Pares people in Cebu City do not know that Momoy has teach also in other places like for example in San Carlos Seminary to many other Students, like Father Lao, Dacayana Alberto, Father Buno etc.. not only Banoy Borja, Ben Culanag, Idring Casio, Mendoza in Doce Pares.

This is very important because actually many masters of Doce Pares Club don't know the others students in other places.

Also GM Ancion Bacon and GM Momoy Canete both trained with the Saavedra's although both individuals personal style is very different. GM Momoy Canete also trained with the father of GM Filimon Canete too and with his own father.

GM Kano learnt San Miguel Eskrima from his father from a young age, he learned Shotokan from a Karate Instructor.

GM Yoling and GM Momoy Canete where but 2 of the original founders of the Doce Pares Club in 1932, along with the Saavedra family.

GM Filemon Caburnay died in 1991. I know I started training at the Lapunti HQ in Cebu in 1992. GM Filemon Canete died on August 12 1996. GM Filipino Caburnay was GM Filimon Canete's sparring partner until he left Doce Pares to from Lapunti Arnis De Abanico in 1972.
