  • I wish I had a sticker machine!! I usually make mine by using double sided tape and whatever I have that is thick...I need to invest in some fun foam.

I hope you don't mind I shared this on my craft page on Facebook, I've only just started to set it up with some of my cards I have made...

  • What is the brand of your cutter?

  • This is such a wonderful idea!!!! I own about 3 or 4 machines. This is a whole lot cheaper than buying the pop dots. I love this idea. Thanks for sharing!!!!

  • OMG! This is such a great idea! You are very creative. Thank you for sharing this! I am always so frugal about using my pop dots... now I can use as much as I want. And, since I have a small xyron and a whole stack of colored foam sheets, I can make 'em in several colors. No more seeing the white dots peeking out from under my projects! Thanks for sharing!

  • where did you get your sticker machine

  • love your idea's now i know what to do ,can not wait to try this and the money I'll save, Thanks

  • Love this idea. I need to get that machine.

  • Now I need a sticker machine. Great idea, Thanks for the visual.

  • does anybody know where to get the foam sheets? please tell me

  • @strawberrigrl15 You can find them in any craft store, you can also usually find them at Walmart. HTH! :)

  • OHMYGOSHTHANKYOUTHANKYOUTHANKYOU!!!! I am the OKI StampQueen aka the POP DOT QUEEN! I have TONS of fun foam and now I know how to use it!!! And...I've run out of pop-dots so this is just awesome! THanks for sharing! Blessings,Sharon

  • @okistampqueen :) I'm glad I was able to help, I'm going to go check out your videos now :)

  • Hi, great idea! Definitely going to make my own. Which refill would you recommend in the Xyron? Permanent or repositionable?

  • @doolie82 :) I'm glad you liked it! I use permanent, just because it's my own preference, I prefer things not to move, but I find that if you move it within a minute or so, you can still move it, but it might lose some of the stickiness and might tear the paper you removed it from. I don't see why repositionable wouldn't work, but I prefer and therefore would recommend permanent.

  • @CraftaholicCentral thanks for the quick response! I think I will use permanent, but when I get around to it I'll try repositionable and let you know. <3

  • @doolie82 Sorry I am just now seeing your question, it doesn't really matter which you use, I prefer the permanent though... :)

  • you dont HAVE to have a xylon machine either, just lay double sided sticky tape such as scor-tape along both sides of the foam and then cut to desired length

  • I just found your video and I am sooooooo excited. I am purchasing my xyron this weekend. I make cards everyday and other projects for church so being ableto make my own popdots I am thrilled.

  • I am going to have to give this a try. i just paid 3.99 for some pop dots. this would save me lots off money. I like the rounds ones but i think i could use a handpunch. thanks Bonnie

  • @bonmountford Yes hand punches would work really well especially since you can choose to have more small than large or vice versa, Good Luck! :)

  • I M so glad U dont edit U just tickled me good.. I M so glad I M not the only one that goofs from time to time..HEHEHHEHEHE!!!

Is it still stuck to your finger.. That was so funny..

this gives me all kinds of ideas THANK UUU

  • @MaryNSC haha I goof all the time! I wish I knew how to edit, at least to make my videos shorter, I try to make them short but it doesn't seem to work... :( I did get it off my finger! lol

  • I found some fun foam that was sticky on one side, so I cut it into strips and only had to run it through the xyron 1 time. It worked great, It was $.99 per sheet! Have a great day!

  • @rebatw That's even better! Great find! :)

  • Thanks for sharing this idea! That is awesome, I am going to grab a foam sheet from my son's craft bin and make some. I am sure that is much cheaper too!

    Thanks Wendy / Indiana

  • @rebatw You're welcome, it is definitely cheaper!! Thanks for subscribing! :)
