Some artists are just "weird" for the sake of weird, or for completely commercial reasons, but it's obvious that Bjork's art has this internal logic that is completely whole in its way... this world of lyric and texture and sound that's like a microcosm expanding into the macrocosm of the listener's world when he/she listens. Amazingly primal and futuristic at once.

the emotion and point of the song is not supposed to change. remixes are meant to take a different perspective on the song. they're supposed to bring the same emotion and message but in a different way. this is not in anyway the same piece anymore. the message is broken.
