Actually, I'm not positive if it's the new singer or not, but on their myspace, there are some songs from The Bone Palace Ballet Grand Coda that weren't on The Bone Palace Ballet, and I think those might be the new guy? I'm not sure.
I havnt listened to Chiodos for very long at all. My girlfriend just a couple of months ago started getting me into the band, because of the incredible vocal talent from Craig Owens. At the time even my girlfriend didnt know he got kicked out, so it came a shock to the both of us when we found out. I think this was the worst mistake the rest of the band could make kicking him out. The band will never be the same and probably will eventually break up. He was the face of this band!!
I know some of the reasons they arnt publicly saying all the reasons, yeah I wont say them cause nobody will believe me, but my friends uncle worked and works with bands including chiodos, if you want to know what I heard message me or something, Im not saying im 100 percent sure because I heard it from my friend but i trust him cuz I know his uncle does work iwith those bands
Of course I freaked out as well, when I first heard it ... But like he said, it is what it is ... Chiodos will be different without Craig, but they'll be able to handle that. @CameraObscene: I did saw Brandon live at Bamboozle Left and he sucked in my opinion. He croaked on one of the songs when he was singing. I miss Craig! Chiodos just isn't the same without Craig. Craig sang with passion and I think that's gone.

@wtfpwndzor When I first heard the new Chiodos record, I thought the same thing. Everybody else was saying "Chiodos is ruined now blah blah blah", but I thought they picked the perfect person. Now that he's been in there for awhile and I've seen him live, no. Brandon is terrible live. The record sounds good, but he can't carry that over into live show. And I saw him try to sing The Word Best Friend Become Redefined, he butchered that song terribly.

Dude I've seen Brandon rockin when he was in yesterdays rising and he doesn't suck. Maybe he croaked once, probably because there's a lot of material he has to cover that isn't his. thanks for your time craig, even though i started listening to chiodos about a year ago, i must say that, craig was and is and always will be the best singer chiodos ever had, or will ever have. @tdwparkcore thats where your wrong. Craig only wrote the lyrics and sang/screamed them. Jason Hale, Chiodos guitarist, is the main composer of their music. thats why Chiodos will go on to be the amazing band that they are, without Craig

it's not that Craig WAS Chiodos, it's just that he and the band clicked really well, like how Gerard Way clicks really well with My Chemical Romance, or how Freddie Mercury clicked really well with Queen, or how Jimmy Sullivan clicked really well with A7X. I don't know if the band is gonna go downhill now, but the band will never be the same. and while their new singer has an okay voice, I don't want him as their frontman, I want CRAIG. =\

Chiodos really lost a true true talent, and with all the bullshit bands it is hard to find the great ones. i hope he continues on, and i too wish he would have released the new one with them, i was so looking forward to how they were goin to top their previous!

acctually many of theatrics this band had were because of craig and also he wrote many of the lyrics but the new chiodos may be good it may be bad but its not craig singing and that was alot of what made chiodos unique

Actually, I'm not positive if it's the new singer or not, but on their myspace, there are some songs from The Bone Palace Ballet Grand Coda that weren't on The Bone Palace Ballet, and I think those might be the new guy? I'm not sure.

The Grand Coda version came out 2008 I think, if not 2007. However, It is Craig Owens on the Grand Coda songs as he was kicked out 2009.

I havnt listened to Chiodos for very long at all. My girlfriend just a couple of months ago started getting me into the band, because of the incredible vocal talent from Craig Owens. At the time even my girlfriend didnt know he got kicked out, so it came a shock to the both of us when we found out. I think this was the worst mistake the rest of the band could make kicking him out. The band will never be the same and probably will eventually break up. He was the face of this band!!

Of course I freaked out as well, when I first heard it ... But like he said, it is what it is ... Chiodos will be different without Craig, but they'll be able to handle that. And Craig's solo stuff is awesome, too ... I think I keep listening to Chiodos ... Depending on how good the new album will be of course ... Also I'm always waiting for new songs by Craig. So I'm fine with it!
