every music that old, we called classical music...but the real classical music is around 1750-1830 the time of Mozart, Beethoven and Haydn. its called classical period
p.s im taking MUS class in college right now so =P
The correct term would be Orchestral NOT classical. Classical as the name implies is old music, such as Bach, Mozart, etc. These are orchestral covers of popular songs
@mlouden01 Actually, it's chamber music, not orchestral. Orchestral would involve... a full orchestra with more than just 2 violins, a viola, and a cello.
"Classical music has a secular background and origin. There is nothing secular about Rolling in the Deep. Get your facts right."......that has to do with what exactly..and rolling in the deep is a secular song :/
Those listening to this who are like "OMG I <3 this, I should listen to more classical music, this is awesome, who knew I was so cultured, Lololololol. :D"
You have to realise.. This.is.NOT.classical.music. This is pop music played on string instruments. Please stop calling it classical music. It is a very good collection of various covers BUT it is NOT classical music, so stop calling it that. Please. You.hurt.my.head.
@ScotsSpeak No offense, but you don't really know what you're talking about. It doesn't take 10 years for modern music played on modern instruments to become "classical".
@alexiskowall There's a difference between being educated and being a smart-ass. I mean no offence. I just wish people would stop being so ridiculous, i.e. calling this classical just cause it's played on string instruments.
@OneManFlashMob A message can be said in a millions ways... so my guess is that the message carries more weight than the spelling in this case.... plus it's vote up, not up vote good sir or lady.
@MrVikingmead You are very right, but the slow and saddening downfall of our youth's grammatical use and spelling is due to our laziness on things they use everyday (i.e. YouTube). And if you knew what Reddit was, you'd understand the up vote comment, but since you don't no harm done and thank you good sir or lady.
@OneManFlashMob It's not due to laziness, it's due to the fact most [American] kids today are dumber than sacks of rocks. Also, most don't know how to use proper grammar anyways. I give that honor to the bad American "Education" system. In Canada the only people you see who actually spell like that are people who are typically failing English or are in other Pathway Levels (For Basic and those with learning disabilities) Simply, if you can't spell here, you can't pass.
@TheRimDoctor I honestly think that it's a combination of both. I'm an American teenager, and while I don't think I'm lazy or dumb as a bag of rocks, I am aware that many people of my age group are. I think, however, that it isn't just a matter of stupidity. I am sorry to say that I believe that my generation is getting steadily lazier, and I think that this laziness causes them to be dumber, because they pay less attention in school, and thus do not learn what they could be learning.
@Valzz99 but you do understand that this isn't classical music? This is pop music played on instruments that are generally associated with classical music.
Hey I'm sorry for being this enthusiastic over music we both appear to like. I typed too fast because of that and thus the comment came out misspelled. Obviously it's not the kind of mistake made because one doesn't know better. I agree it's sad that especially young people like me, use the internet to develop bad spelling and grammar. I only try to improve my English online.
this is brilliant!
